We ordered the boneless spare ribs shrimp fried rice, and jumbo shrimp with scallops with an egg roll and shrimp roll. Everything was amazing, it was everything we were hoping for. We'd had such bad experience in quality in the past that finally getting good/great food made me feel like i too should share because it was yelp that helped me chose this place. Strong controlled flavors, rather then typical over salted and sweet candy like vomit you often get. Everything was just how it should taste. Moist and soft not overly crunchy and partly dry as is often the case. The eggroll is an eggroll and who cares. I will say order arrived somewhat lukewarm so I put it back in the oven. But I mean its door dash so what do you expect? Its not hot over the counter. Go to Fung if you expect that. I do not get people that expect food to arrive a half hour later and then wonder why its not piping hot. Dashers do not have a heating tray in their car and I imagine a serious fire hazzard lol. I expect to come down to the actual location and get it piping hot. Incredible quality. If not for doordash website would never have known about it. I absolutely will order from this place again!“
“The last few times I've been to Saigon it's been very good. Happy that they made it through the tough times of COVID, likely that much harder in downtown Hartford. I will say I've read several reviews about the poor/mean customer service which I have also personally observed since coming here for a decade. However, I must say the front of the house staff (as to not call out anyone specific) has really calmed down. Lately when I visit, I haven't heard anything unpleasant coming from them. Highly recommend for a quick, affordable and tasty lunch option downtown. Just a note though, it is still cash only. $10-$15 bucks will get you a nice meal and drink.“

There’s always so much of everything, and it’s is addictively delicious… I usually eat these by myself and then am so full, I feel I can be rolled away. It’s a great feeling.They use very fresh, HUGE shrimp most of the time and they are not stingy with the meat. The fried scallops are also a nice treat, and so are the bbq pork ribs with white rice. “This is my "go-to" place for Chinese food in the area. Typically I order delivery, although occasionally I'll pick up my order if I'm out (they haven't been able to offer dine-in since the COVID lockdown). Most times my food is delivered in less than 20 minutes from when I placed the order. If it's longer, then I know they're slammed with orders and don't mind as delay is very rare. When I call, my order is taken quickly in a pleasant and professional way. Their delivery driver, Keith, is great! Super nice and always ensures my food arrives safely. When I open that big brown bag of yumminess, the food is always hot and the containers are filled to the max. For me, each dish is flavorful and filling. I especially like the flavor of the pork fried rice. Their chicken chow mein and roast pork with bean sprouts are my favorites. I also alternate between the beef teriyaki and the sweet and sour chicken. The General Tso's Chicken is also great, as is the green pepper steak with onion!The thing that impresses me the most is how hard working the staff are.
