“Today was our first time ordering from here and it did not disappoint at all! The food was all so fresh, hot, and genuinely very delicious. We usually drive about 30 minutes for food but with China Eagle being right down the road and such good quality (plus good prices) we will 100% be coming here for our Chinese food.“

I find it better than the other Chinese restaurant Hang's in Stafford.Be aware that there is no indoor seating. There's some picnic tables in the grass but appears to be mostly take out.“

“We have ordered from Yang Zi Jiang many times, and it has been consistently good when it comes to taste, portion size, and quick turnaround. That opinion also comes after trying quite a few Chinese restaurants in the area.

On our latest visit, we ordered Szechuan Chicken and Crispy Tofu with Broccoli. Both were delicious. The Szechuan Chicken had plenty of well-cooked chicken along with peppers, baby corn, mushrooms, and snow peas. It was marked spicy, though for our taste it really was not.

The Crispy Tofu came with broccoli and fried tofu coated in a very good sweet and spicy sauce. Because of the sauce, the tofu was no longer particularly crispy by the time we ate it, and the pieces were a little too large for my liking. Other than broccoli, there were no additional vegetables, but the flavor more than made up for it.

Over our previous visits, we have also enjoyed their Vegetable Fried Rice, Veg Lo Mein, General Tso's Chicken, General Tso's Tofu, Orange Chicken, and Hot & Sour Soup. Thankfully, we have yet to come across a dish we disliked. The portions have always been generous and the food consistently flavorful.

One thing I especially appreciate is their surprisingly good and creative vegetarian selection, something I do not find at many Chinese restaurants. Their menu is quite large, and despite all our visits, we probably have not tried even half of it yet.

The only limitation is that this is essentially a takeout restaurant with no dine-in option. Posting this review only after eating here multiple times — and so far, Yang Zi Jiang has earned its consistency.“

“always love coming here, they are always on time but today was not the day to make me wait 75 minutes for my order. My son and I spent 3 hours at CCMC for his final cardiologist appointment... then I wait for food!!! I honestly wished I got something for me waiting so long. “My husband and I just picked up from here yesterday when we saw it passing by and we were totally impressed! We usually go to PokeDon in South Windsor but we split a spicy tuna bowl and not only was it absolutely delicious, but the customer service was great too. “Went with my daughter and we got to plates and two sodas. Paid over $50 for food that was ok but not great. The service was fast but its really more of a take out place. We dined in and it felt like we were eating in their back pantry. The table was so wobbly we decided to make a game of it to see who could eat without spilling. Would not go back again.“
