“Super good! I really enjoy their general tso's chicken. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because the menu says you can adjust the spice but every time I order it I am unable to make it spicy. The last time I ordered it I asked for it to be extra spicy and it didn't even have a hint of spice.
Golden fingers are huge!
Customer service is always great. Everyone there is kind and accommodating. It's rather small inside and employees are usually sitting at the tables so I don't believe I would ever eat there. Takeout is great though! They also deliver.

“Just went there for dinner tonight and it was the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever had. We got the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, Sesame Chicken, and the vegetable Lo-Mein. Also had a lychee martini. Everything was fantastic! The service was excellent. All the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is great, very nice and clean throughout the restaurant. 10/10, highly recommended. Must try if you visit the Holyoke Mall!

“They have an AMAZING vegan menu!! Any time we are remotely close to Gold Chopsticks, we order. The Citrus Ribz and Triple Crown are so so good! The meat replacements are only tofu. They use either seitan or tofu skin and the texture is perfect. I highly recommend. If they can do amazing vegan, I’m sure the rest is equally phenomenal!!“

Must-order items include: spring rolls, wonton soup, both curry and pepper chicken/beef with onion dishes, chicken or beef Hunan style/garlic sauce. Fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls are also solid. Combos are delicious and filling. Their house duck sauce is a favorite of ours. Delivery service is reliable as well!“

“I don't understand why so many people give Ho Mei bad reviews. So far, it is my favorite Chinese food in Springfield. Is it fancy? No. However, it is quality food and really affordable. The gentleman who is usually at the front desk is very friendly and his service is great. If you go there as much as I do, they will remember your face and likely your order (if it stays the same). “An affordable family-run take out Chinese food.
I stopped by to pickup some Chinese food. Beef noodle for my kids and general Tsao’s combo for me.
Everything came out hot. The egg rolls took the longest. It was crunchy and I could tell it was home made.
The noodles was OK. It was a bit light on ingredients but at this price point, that’s fine.
General Tsao was interesting. Small pieces of chicken, individually thickly coated, and sauces generously. No broccoli but at this price, can’t ask for it. It had a nice crunch and flavor was good. It came in a smallish container but it was packed full of food.
They put in utensils I asked for along with sauces.
When I was there, bunch of kids were there and they were helping out. It’s nice to see family run shops. The woman taking order was super friendly and asked about my kids.
If you want an affordable and generously portioned meal, these guys are great.“

Omg and I asked for extra sauces and they actually gave them to me!? “Friendly gentleman took my order and made my order fresh from that point. The prices are much better than the gold chopsticks place located nearby and the prices are much lower. “Delivery is usually 45 minutes to my house and I live 5 minutes away. However, I noticed in the restaurant they usually wait until they have a few orders before the driver leaves. I don't dine in because the dining area is very small with cheap chairs and broken tables. Bathrooms are usually dirty.Their food is definitely one of the best in the area. Their rice is average Chinese fried yellow rice with very few vegetables. (I prefer dark brown fried rice with lots of vegetables and egg) Their barbecue ribs are the best in the area, in my opinion. They are long, meaty, and juicy. They bake them (where as another local Chinese restaurant close by deep fries them, which makes them tough, dry, and chewy). Their beef teriyaki is amazing. Tender and very flavorful. I also love their fried scallops and chicken fingers.Their combination platters are very good. Generous portions for the price. The only thing I don't really like ordering here are the crab rangoons. I've ordered them a few times and most of the time they barely have any filing in them. These people are great to me and my family, and it's very nice to keep a family tradition.
Food is always good, I may have had 1 issue and house of Huang fixed it quick. They care about their customers.

“Wanted something spicy and this was the only Asian food in a 2 mile radius. We were on a long drive and didn't want to go hunting for another restaurant. So Cheng's Chinese Garden it was.

The menu had the usual American Chinese fare (General Tsos, Beef and Broccoli etc.) but there was a section that looked promising - the names of the dishes hinted at the more traditional Chinese dishes.

We order egg drop soup and hot and sour soup to start. They didn't disappoint. The main course was a dry beans dish and a pork and cabbage "spicy" dish.

The dry beans dish was just outstanding! Such a simple dish. Prepared with some pickles (not the ones you are thinking of) that added a bit of extra taste - made the dish worth recommending. Definitely try it.
The pork dish was tasty but more sweet than spicy. Not overly sweet like sweet and sour dishes but unmistakably sweet. We asked for some chillies sauce on the side but that didn't help the dish much. It was not bad by any means. Just not the spicy we were craving.

Service was fast and friendly. The soup came out non sooner than we finished ordering. The restaurant is clean and the decoration in unmistakably Chinese. If some one walked you in there with blindfolds on and you would know instantly what to expect when your blindfolds came off :-).“
