“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. While there we saw they made gourmet sandwiches, which we ordered and ate outside. They were amazing, so big, we could only eat half (pics taken after we started) Great place, staff were fantastic!! Very nice people. We will definitely return!!!”

“Our new “go to” place in town! The service is exceptional and the portions and prices are very reasonable. The food is fresh and delicious! I recommend a cheese chili dog or a cold salad with choice of tuna, chicken or egg salad! Burgers and fries are great too!”

“We went to JRegos for the first time last night. We will definitely be back. The menu was fantastic , staff was attentive and the atmosphere was cozy. The food? Spectacular! Arancini( my husband makes a really good one so we were hesitant to try it but were pleasantly surprised) , bacon wrapped stuffed chix breast and jambalaya. Finished up with a slice of cake. 5 stars! Well done JRego’s”

“I will choose to drive an extra half an hour away from my hometown for this subway instead of eating at the one in my hometown. The veggies are always super fresh, sandwiches are always extremely satisfying, and the staff is super friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking to give subway a second chance”

“Best Chinese food in the Tolland County area!! Everything tastes so delicious and fresh. The beef teriyaki, crab Rangoon, pork egg roll, veggie lo mein, & broccoli chicken are our go-to items! I love how they make sure to drain the grease out of the fried items too before bagging them up. You can tell they take pride in flavorful food and pay attention to detail. I just recently tried out this restaurant and now I recommend it to everyone I know. This is a great local family owned restaurant to support ❤”

“We wanted something different so we stopped there, great choice. You can't be in a hurry though, kinda like eating at home with friends, but you don't have to cook. Lol. We liked it. Chatted with a few other regulars and had a great Saturday morning there.”
“Love it here! So glad there is a nice local ice cream place!”
“By far and beyond the best Starbucks in a 50 mile radius. Enfield Starbucks’ needs to learn from this one.
I ordered a matcha and they accidentally made a chai. They let me keep the chai, made me a matcha, and gave me a $4 gift card for the trouble, all without me asking.
My girl Lilly was so sweet and complimented the stickers on my car. 🌸
This is the best Starbucks.”

“We stopped into Cooley’s Kitchen while visiting family in Connecticut, and somehow it already feels like part of “home” for us. 🧡🐾 Jen helped us find a table near the back during dinner rush, which ended up being perfect. Low traffic, quieter, and right by a beautiful sunset. As disabled guests with a power chair, sensory overload can happen fast for us, especially in busy restaurants. Whether intentional or not, both Jen and Aaron seemed incredibly aware of the environment around us. Several times when the sun started shining directly into our eyes, one of them would naturally step into the light while checking on us so we could keep enjoying our cheeseburger grinder without getting overwhelmed. Small thing maybe, but it mattered a lot to us. What stood out most was how human everything felt. Not forced “customer service.” Real care. Jen sat and talked with patrons and you could immediately tell this is a place locals genuinely love. Friends, families, regulars. Everyone seemed comfortable there. They checked in with us based on timing and body language, not because some policy told them to stop by every few minutes. Even the thumbs up from across the room felt personal and warm. We had a chance to talk a little about the restaurant too. Hearing that this was Aaron’s dream and that they’ve been building it together for the last two years honestly made the experience even better. You can feel the passion behind the place. Aaron being a chef and Jen helping build the community side of it makes the whole restaurant feel alive in a way chain restaurants never do. Every time we come to Connecticut, we stop here…usually more than once. Truthfully, places like this are part of why we’ve started looking at Ellington as somewhere we could someday call home, even all the way from Iowa. Good food matters. But being seen as human matters more. Cooley’s Kitchen gave us both. 🧡🐾”
