“Cafe kiosk located inside the Big Y Express, but don't let the location fool you. Building is clean and inviting, with plenty of parking. Had a Spiced Brown Sugar Chai and Winter Cranberry Salad which were both off the specials menu, and both were delicious. Salad was a large portion and a nice blend of all ingredients, chai was sweeter than expected but was pleasantly spiced almost like eggnog. Friendly and quick service. As it is primarily a takeout/drive-thru location, be warned there is not much seating.“
“Awe breakfast! This is a creative business knows how to attract new customers and keep you with variety of coffee, ice teas. Various donuts all kinds . All the sugar crave how convenient . Suggestion please have your store locations have the donuts trays covered from insects and germs plz.“
“We arrived right at 0600 when they opened and pulled through the drive through. They didn't have orange juice which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. The service was fast and the food was...well, it's what it is but it was hot so there you go. Would not hesitate going back to this McDonalds should we have the chance. We were pleased over all.“
“Very nice, friendly, and helpful staff. The coffee is robust and flavorful. The best I have found in Connecticut. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and accommodating I will be adding a couple minutes to my daily commute to enjoy this coffee before work.“
“Love the coffee! Robust and unique. The cozy ambiance and distinct flavor make it a top spot for anyone seeking a new coffee experience. And....one of the best cookies I've ever tried. Make sure to try the seasonal latte. Will definitely be “
“Nestled on **765 Sullivan Ave in South Windsor, CT**, Birdhouse Coffee isn't just a coffee shop; it's a symphony of flavors, warmth, and community. As I stepped inside, the rich aroma of freshly roasted beans enveloped me, inviting me to stay awhile. The baristas, true artisans, take their time crafting each pour-over. I opted for their signature blend, the **"Morning Song"**, a dance of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Colombian beans. With every sip, I tasted dark chocolate, ripe berries, and a hint of floral sweetness—a harmonious composition. But let's dive deeper into the coffee symphony Birdhouse offers:1. **Morning Song**: The star of the show, this blend is a morning ritual. It greets you with a gentle crescendo of flavors, awakening your senses for the day ahead.2. **Sunrise Serenade**: A light roast that sings notes of citrus and jasmine. Perfect for those who prefer a delicate melody in their cup.3. **Velvet Sonata**: A medium-dark roast with undertones of caramel and toasted hazelnuts. It's like a warm embrace on a chilly afternoon.4. **Midnight Rhapsody**: For the night owls, this bold blend boasts dark chocolate, smoky cedar, and a touch of mystery. Pair it with a slice of their decadent chocolate cake. And the pastries deserve a standing ovation. The **blueberry scone**, flaky and buttery, burst with juicy blueberries. Paired with my coffee, it was a delightful duet. But Birdhouse Coffee isn't just about the brew; it's about connections. Locals gather here, sharing stories, laughter, and sometimes a game of chess. It's a haven—a place where caffeine meets camaraderie. The rustic wooden decor, soft jazz, and friendly baristas create an inviting ambiance. Whether you're seeking a morning pick-me-up or an evening refuge, Birdhouse Coffee hits all the right notes. So, if you find yourself in South Windsor, follow the melody to Birdhouse Coffee. It's more than coffee; it's a soulful tune—a reminder that life's best moments happen over a cup of warmth.*Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal experience and taste preferences. Yours may vary, but I hope it's as delightful as mine!“
“Lovely experience, the food was wonderful. I got an Omelette du Jour and it was perfectly cooked with a wonderful blend of delectable flavors. The service staff were wonderful, they were very kind and accomodating. My only issue would have to be the strong smell of gasoline which was almost nauseating, presumably due to the several fireplaces being lit in an enclosed space. Aside from that, the atmosphere was wonderful with very elegant yet homey decor, and I love that they support local artists by allowing them to sell their paintings there.Parking: The place was packed, though there was ample parking, we ended up having to park on the grass.Wheelchair accessibility: They offer handicap parking and everything is on one floor.“
“It is so ADORABLY cute in here! Very quiet and welcoming place with a calming and serene presence. I ordered a Mango-Go smoothie for my daughter which I know she'll love. I ordered my self a Honey Lavender Latte on this snowy and slushy mid morning, and I must tell you that this Honey Lavender Latte went down smooth and delicious! Perfect drink for soothing and relaxing. It was also so light; no heavy feeling afterwards as I have had the experience of some drinks leaving you bloated full... not here. I also took home a Strawberry Kombucha and 2 protein balls; strawberry coconut and mint chocolate chip. Like Annie, "I think I'm going to like it here!" 5 stars from me. There are so many more varieties to choose from on their menu and I am up for the taste challenge!“
“Love this little coffee shop. It's a renovated Cape Building across from Rocky's Ace Hardware. So many flavors of coffee to choose from. There is usually 2 choices of coffee flavors to buy and also Coco mixes. The Vibe is laid back and welcoming. Have been buying my coffee for years from here. You will never want another watered down "chain" coffee again. Come and try!“
