“This is our regular date night restaurant. Fantastic drinks, sushi and service. We always ask for whatever the special roll is and then order a bunch of different rolls. They have excellent martinis and Japanese sodas for the non-drinkers or kids. Highly recommended!“
“The new owers are amazing. They are a husband and wife team that work very hard to make quality food. Every time I pick up my food the wife always greats me with a smile. I have been a customer since day one and I have never had a meal that did not taste amazing. The food is always very hot, tasty and reasonably priced. I am very picky on where I order take-out and I highly recommend Jasons House!“
“This is the only Chinese restaurant that I go to. The food is always hot, fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. I always get the boneless spare ribs and the chicken lo mein. I always have enough for two or three days. The ribs are always tender and the sauce for the ribs has a nice sweetness to them. The chicken lo mein, in my opinion pairs well with the boneless spare ribs. I eat them together. The people there are extremely nice. From the first time I discovered this place, I always gotten big smiles and a warm welcome as soon as I walked in. From the amazing customer service to the delicious food, I would highly recommend this place to anybody.“
“Great service, atmosphere, and most importantly - amazing food! Highly recommend the scallion pancake roll with twice cooked pork, it was so good and our favorite dish. Dan Dan noodles also great. I'll be back to try the bao, the soup dumplings were good but not my favorite.“
“Chef Jiang in Farmington boasts an authentic menu that deviates from the usual Americanized Chinese fare. While I appreciate their commitment to regional Chinese cuisine, my experience fell a bit short of expectations. At first when we arrived they were mopping the floors and the cleaner smell overpowered our senses. We started with an array of dumplings, excited to dive into this cornerstone of Chinese dim sum. The vegetable fried dumplings were undeniably fresh, showcasing crisp wrappers and plump fillings. However, the flavor profile leaned too heavily on the sauce we dipped them in leaving them a bit one-dimensional. The shrimp and sticky rice shumai came across similarly, with the offering a punch of fishiness that overpowered. The highlight of our meal were the dumplings in chili sauce. Each bite burst with a satisfying heat, balanced by the richness of the filling. Again, the freshness of the dumplings shone through, but the flavor could have benefited from additional complexity. The soup dumplings mirrored the above sentiment.Ultimately, while Chef Jiang offers a refreshing departure from the familiar, the execution didn't quite match the ambition. The emphasis on freshness is commendable, but I yearned for more nuanced flavors in the fillings and sauces. We ended up stopping before delving further into the menu, as the portions were generous.Would I recommend Chef Jiang? It depends on your culinary compass. If you're an adventurous diner seeking authentic Chinese flavors, it's worth a try. However, if you crave Americanized Chinese food, you might leave wanting more“
“This place was pretty good. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. The atmosphere is wonderful and my waiter, Sebastian, should get a damn raise because he is so nice. I got the spicy Chang chicken or whatever and it was very tender. The only complaint I'd have was that this place is slightly pricier compared to other Chinese restaurants (my meal costed like 19 bucks or around there). Even the fortune cookies tasted good.“
“A MUST. I'm from out of state and every single time I visit I ask to go here. Consistently delicious. My go-to is general tso chicken. Never a 'weird' piece of meat, very crispy and generous portion. We've tried basically every appetizer on the menu, all 10/10. Our favorites are crab Rangoon, and the spring rolls. The cocktails are very tasty, the lemon drop especially. Some drinks are served in fun glasses like a tiki! Service is great, very friendly and attentive. Never have to wait too long but I also like that the food doesn't come out asap too. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant and will continue coming back!“
“Decided to stop in and try for the first time and the food was actually delicious and did not taste old like other Chinese take out! The lady in the front is so sweet and welcoming truly made the experience even better she even gifted my daughter a little cake! I would definitely go back.“
“Food was delicious. Soup bowl is huge - best shared with another person.I had the beef tomato and pineapple. It was fantastic.Dietary restrictions: Our friend who was with us is allergic to onions. They left them out of her meal. Her husband's meal had onions and they were very willing to take it back ane replace it so they could share. We asked for no cilantro and were happy with our meal.Parking: It's a storefront restaurant in a shopping plaza with a large parking lot.“
“We loved this place! Authentic Chinese food - Stephanie. The Chengdu dumplings and cold rabbit appetizers were fantastic! my son had the crisp pork belly, and I had the sliced smoked duck. Soooooo delicious! Can't wait to bring the hubs here.“
“Exceptional food. Wife used to live down the street so she'd go frequently now we live farther away but whenever in the area prioritize stopping there and getting food. Sonny the owner is one of the nicest most personable people on the planet making the visit there exponentially better. Definitely go here and eat you will love it and want to go back. Sonny don't ever stop being a great person. Thank you.Parking: Tough parking but you'll find a spot and there's side road/behind building spots.Kid-friendliness: Kids items available.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes front accessible.“
“This is the best place. I don't live that close and sometimes when craving Chinese food I have caved and tried the recommended places near me and I always regret not just driving to Burlington. Every time I have gotten food here it has been delicious, consistent and it always hits the spot. I highly recommend them.“
“I've lived in Beijing, Hong Kong, and rural China for over 5 years in total. Now living in rural Massachusetts it is difficult to find decent Chinese. I drove out of my way to try Lemongrass and I was pleased. The place was clean, neat, and tastefully decorated. The congyoubing (scallion pancake) was quite good as was the Mongolian beef. The taro bubble tea was outstanding. I'm sure it's a challenge to get the right ingredients in a place like this but this is the best Chinese food I've found within an 1 hour radius so it's worth the trip in my view. And to add, the owner couple was extremely friendly and chatty so I had a chance to practice my Mandarin Chinese.“
“I love Mama Khang. This is my go to this side of the CT River for Vietnamese. Service is a bit slow. But I commend Mama Khang working as hard as she does at her age. For good food, it's worth the extra patience and grace to support this small business.“
“I can not explain how grateful I am for the gratitude and quality of food that this restaurant has given me. I am so happy that I am to have found this restaurant! I have only ordered now my second time, and I live about 25 minutes away, and I’m being so serious when I say this that my food so hot that I have to let it cool off still!!! Now try to top that where your food comes perfect like this. GREAT PORTIONS TOO!! Trust this review because I’m always honest (it doesn’t really go in my favor sometimes lol) thank you guys for being amazing!!?“
“Takeout review:I read that this is not your normal Chinese takeout spot so I had to check it out. They serve authentic Chinese Szechuan cuisine and has locations in West Hartford and Fairfield. I ordered the hot appetizer, Chengdu Dumplings which are steamed pork dumplings with their special garlic sauce; this was sweet, spicy, and in hot chili oil. The flavors were delicious and I should've ordered two of these to make an entree. For my entree, I had the crispy chicken in spicy garlic sauce. Since this was a takeout order, they had the sauce in a separate container so the chicken won't be soggy. Before pouring the sauce over your chicken, make sure to shake it first. The sauce was okay and not that spicy. I probably wouldn't order this again. The next time, I want to try our the Dan Dan noodles, Seven Flavors Wonton, Spicy Cumin Beef, Chong Qing chicken, and many more. The prices were definitely higher than other Chinese spots. Overall, a good Szechuan spot for your non typical Chinese dishes.“

“Dinner plates were huge and really good! I think for the price it’s a good value. My one issue was some of the piece of chicken were tough but overall it was good. For the first time in a long time my general Tso’s chicken was actually spicy.“
“Great place! Check it out!Thats all i can say.But ill say a litttle more , lol.The food was awesome! It tasted like a mix of american, latino and Chinese food. Lol i can't describe it. It was delish! And only $11.00 for the combo . Planty of food very satisfying! Round of applause. Good job guys! Keep it up. Ill be stopping by again! The rice was Bomb . Net“
“This food is phenomenal. I am not a foodie that always eats out or whatever. But I have eaten at enough chinese places to know what is cookie cutter, just another take out in town taste and quality. This place is legit great. It was so good I called them on the phone to tell them. This is not a payed reviewed of any kind. Because I despise that kind of marketing. I am not going to comment deep on everything because life is too short. In I had general Tsos chicken, Boneless spareribs, shrimp fried rice, Crab rangoon, and beef terriyaki. Strong controlled flavors, rather then typical over salted and sweet candy like vomit you often get. Everything was just how it should taste. Moist and soft not overly crunchy and partly dry as is often the case. The eggroll is an eggroll and who cares. I will say order arrived somewhat lukewarm so I put it back in the oven. But I mean its door dash so what do you expect? Its not hot over the counter. Go to Fung if you expect that. I do not get people that expect food to arrive a half hour later and then wonder why its not piping hot. Dashers do not have a heating tray in their car and I imagine a serious fire hazzard lol. I expect to come down to the actual location and get it piping hot. Incredible quality. If not for doordash website would never have known about it. I absolutely will order from this place again!“
“Best Chinese food I have had in Connecticut! The egg roll was crispy with a good amount of pork. Pork fried rice was excellent! Great boneless spareribs! Wish they gave a bit more duck sauce. Will definitely be back! If you are looking for Boston area style Cantonese Chinese food try this place out!“
“I've been coming here for a while now. They do a good Chinese food/ fast food takeout. For whatever reason, many Chinese take-out places give me indigestion and I've been here at least 15 times and have yet to experience any of that. Orange chicken is my go-to dish. It cost $16, comes with a pint of rice and a fortune cookie. They're open on Xmas too. 4 stars. Keep up the good work.“
“Cleanest Chinese restaurant in hartford you can physically see the grill/equitment always being shined cleaned service is great, every time I go in I’m always greeted well! They try to there hardest to minimize the wait time which is great..When I order food I wait less than 2 mins to be acknowledged and served!! The food is always fresh and good!“
“This restaurant is amazing and Cindy the lady who took my order was even more amazing. I’m vegan and my kids are not so we always try to find places that accommodate all of us and this place beats every need! They have my support! The prices are very reasonable as well!!!“
“We’ve had a few excellent experiences over the last two months here since we moved to town.Great clean egg rolls, steamed pork dumplings, bone on spare ribs, hot & sour soup and shrimp egg foo young.Everything is fresh and clean. Nothing is dripping oil.Parking: Plenty“
