When I got the bill I saw that they charged me 75 cents for mustard that I requested for my deluxe burger , I was infuriated . The catsup was free but was blown away by a charge for mustard. Did not complain or even mention it . It was minor on a $60 bill plus a 25% tip . But the fact that someone would nickel and dime you like that said I will take my business elsewhere . “I’ve lived in CT for 50 yrs and this was my first visit to Toads Place. Awesome venue for a show. Small enough to feel intimate but big enough to offer space. Sound system was great and the acts are top notch. Enjoyed the event so much, made me feel like I was 18 again.“

“We happened to stumble into Elm Diner by chance, and what a find it turned out to be. The moment we walked in, the bright, welcoming atmosphere and spotless space immediately stood out. Then came Nicole, our waitress, greeting us with a genuine smile that made us feel like we’d been coming there for years.

The menu is impressively extensive, offering something for everyone. When our salad arrived, it was fresh, crisp, and generous just like the rest of the meal. Our dishes were flavorful and satisfying.

Nicole was exceptional, and the entire staff added to the experience with their friendliness and energy. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here that you don’t find everywhere.

If you’re anything like me, this place will set the bar for every diner you visit afterward. Every once in a while, you come across a restaurant that truly has it all, and Elm Diner is that rare gem.

On a normal night handling a bar alone is already impressive, but with how packed it was, he was straight up masterful. Our server, especially, was really wonderful, very peppy, caring and attentive. Don't know her name but she is around 4' 11" - 5' 2", wears eyeglasses and is of Asian descent. Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! I know some people compare it to the newer, more expensive clubs, but not everyone is looking for a super fancy or high-end place. Sometimes all you want is great music, a fun crowd, good drinks, and a place where you can actually enjoy yourself—and this club has all of that.
