It was honestly just ok. The dough was bland. The sauce was ok and the cheese was more greasy than i like. Also had a meatball grinder. The bread was really good but the meatballs were not very tasty and there was way too much cheese. Overall I have to say i was disappointed. I would still try the main location in west haven before I give up on it.
It might be a takeout place, but it still comes close to the West Haven experience of legendary pizza. We are very lucky to have this place in Ansonia. Sometimes the pizza is so good that I get it for takeout, but eat it in their parking lot. Never makes it home.
Now my two favorite local pizza places are walking distance from each other.
First timer here at Ansonia shop. Great apizza. Sausage and dough are amazing.
My wife is not a pizza person and she likes it too. My dogs are mad because I ate most of my crust and they didn't 😂
