Salad and pasta were good. The pasta fagioli was more of a vegetable soup.The chicken parm on the other hand was tough. I mentioned it to the waitress and she would tell them and said we will try to make it better next visit! Unfortunately there won’t be another visit.

I went for lunch before checking the menu, nothing I wanted was on their limited lunch menu, however they accommodated my every request. Started with some bread and butter, next I had a dinner salad with italian dressing (which most italian restaurants I've been to dont offer italian dressing, you heard me right) then I had the Chicken picata with angel hair pasta (which wasn't on the menu) cooked perfectly, perhaps the chicken was a bit over cooked. Lots of capers and a great thicker lemon sauce. I had a Carmel apple cheesecake for dessert that I could not finish. I left very satisfied. Great service and nice atmosphere, priced right.

Amicis is always a great place to dine! Great little bar, too!
Drinks and water tasted like chlorine. We waited 45 minutes for salads that came with half a cherry tomato and a single slice of cucumber, an hour for our 4 pieces of garlic bread, when we finally got our food more time later my penne was completely cold and the eggplant was mush and just horribly stacked on top, half the pieces not breaded half breaded in mush. The waitress had no personality or care to be there. We asked if they had spicy Italian sausage she just stared at us and was like uhhhhh I don’t really know, rather than, I don’t know, maybe asking the cooks. Seemed like it would have been a nice place but for an 80$ meal, the food and service was absolutely disappointing. Would definitely not recommend somewhere I’d never return.

My future hubby and I had a gift card for this restaurant and we used it last night to celebrate my successful Mary Kay business launch party earlier that day! OH MY … it was such a delicious way to cap off an already amazing day!! To start we had the most tender, sweet, lightly breaded and delicately fried calamari with two dipping sauces. Our main entrees were served with options of salad or soup. We both chose soup, he had a traditional Italian type that I can’t spell!! I had French onion and we both were pleased. Our entrees were Nona’s Shrimp & Scallops and I had Chicken Christina. The portions were generous but not obnoxious, the food was fresh and the proteins were cooked perfectly, and the food came out in a timely manner. Our server, Ben, was on point with his service making our celebration and dining experience even more special!! Any server that knows the menu like a favorite novel is usually a good sign of 5 star service!! When your server replaces your drink right at your last sip and you didn’t have to ask for a refill … 5 ⭐️ service … taking away your meal to box it for you … 5 ⭐️ service … bring the check and receipt in a timely manner … 5 ⭐️ service!!! ??? The only “complaint” was from my man, there wasn’t any pepper on the table!! Ben explained they do that so they provide that experience for the dinner to have fresh cracked pepper over the pasta along with the grated cheese…agreed!! But he wanted it for his soup, and I’m sure if he asked for it, Ben would have obliged!! I wasn’t a huge fan of the 1980’s oversized style booths; but to me it’s similar to when I show a real estate client a poorly decorated house, I always say, “bad decor can be changed look at the bigger picture” … I can look past a few ugly booths because it’s the delicious food coupled with 5 ⭐️ service that I’ll be going back for … It was so good that in the future I’d even be willing to sit in one of those ill regarded booths!!!
