Khamla and her warm, friendly staff really know how to make you feel special.

From the moment you walk in the door, to when you are choosing from a selection of the most delicious pastries you've ever had, to being rung up at the register - you feel like you're walking into a friend's home and they are ready to take care of you.

There are a handful of third spaces and bakery/cafes where my partner and I are regulars, and BouNom is at the top of that list. We can't seem to stay away.

Khamla is not only generous with her patrons, but with the community at large. Her space is inclusive, welcoming, and so easy to feel like you can be yourself. It is no wonder that she is a crowd favorite in this region!

Our faves: bacon egg in a hole, blueberry petite bites, blueberry maple pound cake, cheddar chive biscuits - honestly anything you order will be no doubt delicious.

One of the top 3 best Apple Fritters in CT. Can't recommend it enough. Everything is great, but that's amazing. The scones, pound cakes, breads, and other bakery items are all very good as well. The line can take a bit to get through even early in the day. The service is fast and friendly. Parking is a bit challenging as it can be difficult to find spaces near the store. The prices are on the higher side, but it's great quality so you get what you pay for. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit.

Khamla’s personality and energy just cannot be beat… incredible pastries too!! Even if the pastries weren’t incredible, I would still go to this bakery just to see Khamla because she’s such a ray of sunshine 🤣🫶🏼 support small businesses!! So happy we stumbled upon this bakery. Will be back.

Such a gem of a café! The pastries are divine, the coffee is rich and smooth, and the staff, including the lovely owner, make you feel right at home. There's such a joyful, welcoming vibe here that you can't help but leave smiling. Highly recommended!

This place is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was just perfect, cozy, warm, and wonderfully inviting, making it the ideal spot to relax. The staff truly makes the experience special; everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to be there.
And the food? Unbelievable. I had the chocolate croissant, and it was pure perfection. Flaky, buttery, and filled with rich, decadent chocolate, honestly one of the best I've ever had. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of love into their baking. I can't wait to go back and try everything else!

I had a blueberry sticky bun and the icing on it was exquisite. It looked, smelled, and tasted delicious. It was a wonderful Sunday treat.

SO worth the hype!! I mobile ordered to pick up at 11:30 on Friday (lunch break) but then saw on insta that they closed at 11:30 after selling out! I sped down there and 11:22 they had their closed sign up. I waved at a worker inside and she handed me my prepacked order and I was all set to go! The bounom roll was SO simple and so delicious as was the cinnamon roll. But the almond chocolate croissant was next level. Packed full of almond paste and chocolate!! I live right down the road, ordering was so easy, this is dangerous!

Edit: I’ve now tried a handful of their more savory pastries. The scallion roll is INSANE. Everything in that case is well worth it and the staff is beyond kind.

BouNom is a COMMUNITY STABLE. Everything from drinks to baked goods and their candy stores selection is top tier. stop by for their scallion rolls and amazing service!! Definitely try the peach bites and their huge selection of cakes!! Everyone is so nice, helpful and, generous 🩷

I went here once when it first opened but haven’t been since until this morning. I don’t know why!! This spot is a hidden gem. The staff is all truly so kind and the owner is so welcoming. The drinks and food were so great as well! I will definitely need to make this a weekly thing.

We’ve been here a few times now to the bakery and the emporium candy store and every time we have gone the staff and owner have been the friendliest people! They are so sweet and kind. The baked goods at the bakery are always so good and filling! We’ve gotten a variety of pastries and sandwiches and have always been satisfied! The candy store always has the sweets I love and both shops are so neat and clean ❤️

Very welcoming and warm atmosphere and customer service. Amazing Jambon sandwich and blueberry lemonade the pastries were to die for. Trust me I’m a pastry queeeeeen! Owner was so nice and even gave a banana pudding to my daughters on the house. Very nice of her! I wish they have longer hours or opened earlier as my business in Simsbury (Revise Beauty) has almost the same opening hours so it’s super hard to come frequently.
