Amazing place that serves up a variety of different cupcakes. My mom is gluten-free due to health reasons, so finding spots that offer quality tasting gluten-free options is always a win. You can also get bigger orders like 24 cupcakes for events and parties.
The owner and the workers here are incredibly rude. How is this place still in business if they just scare all the customers away

Absolutely no. The staff is so so rude any time you go in acting inconvenienced when you ask about the variety. The owner was at the post office in town BLASTING delivery people calling them clowns for misunderstanding where to deliver things. Openly just being so so rude to people trying to deliver her products. After her gofundme for opening too many businesses and claiming she needed help keeping them open… there are MANY other businesses to go to to get a cupcake.

I've been to Cake Gypsy a few times and sometimes they're great, but the last time I was in there, the staff wasn't very friendly. Maybe they just had an "off" day, so I'll update if I go back and they're good again! Besides that, I'm glad they have gluten free options. I wish they would add muffins- I had gone twice and tried their gf cheesecake pumpkin swirl then their gf cheesecake chocolate swirl muffins and those were amazing. The last time I went, their gf selection was very limited, only a few cupcakes. I'm hoping for a red velvet cheesecake swirl muffin one of these days!

I love the cupcakes from cake gypsy but after these two interactions I doubt I’ll be coming back to the Avon location. About a week ago my mother and I went in to get her birthday cupcake and a few other things. The lady who served us was probably mid 40s with dark hair. Her interactions with us were very short and curt. It seemed like we were inconveniencing her by shopping where she worked. My mom prefers gluten-free and asking for that seemed like the worst thing in the world to this woman. She would get frustrated with us if we asked questions or needed clarification on ANYTHING.
Fast forward to today (literally five minutes ago). We’re in again to get one cupcake. There’s an older women in front of us and this same lady is serving her. The women was very soft spoken and seemed apprehensive. She asked for clarification about the ingredient of a lemon cupcake and whether they could make more for her. The server was incredibly rude and put out by these questions and the customer was having trouble hearing her which made the server respond in an even more disrespectful tone. At this point I can tell that the customer is getting anxious and I notice she even had a hearing aid in. The server literally says in a condescending way “okay READY?” And then proceeds to rudely explain. She was also clearly making frustrated and exasperated sound effects and faces.
This was such an unenjoyable experience and thing to see. There is no way I’m coming back here and I’m disappointed that I even have to say that. Disgusting.

Great cupcakes! You can get gluten free cupcakes in several different flavors of cake but with the same choice of frosting and toppings as you would have with regular cupcakes. As a gluten-free person I love it when I have a diversity of choices.

I’ve had celiac disease for over ten years and cake gypsy has hands down the best gluten free bakery I’ve come across. They recently started making a gluten free coffeecake that is just amazing. If egg or dairy is an issue, look no further because they have options for that too. Thank you for being simply amazing at what you do!!!
