Outside ambience was very pleasant on this 78 degree evening. Service was good , prompt and well timed. The lamb potato gnocchi was superb . The lamb was tender and delicious and the gnocchi light and plump. The linguine carbonara was the classic Italian version and not the chain restaurant gloppy weird sauce version. Excellent.

We had dinner there today for Father's Day and a birthday. There were 12 of us and each one of us raved about the food!! The gentleman who waited on us was very good! All in all I give it 5 stars and will be back!

I have always loved Dacapo and the service and staff are excellent, friendly, and attentive. I was a bit disappointed that the portions were smaller than we have had in the past for the same entrees. This may be due to inflation, but nevertheless. a bit disappointing.

Reservation was at 6:45...we were seated, provided water and bread. Our drink order was taken along with our meal selection around 6:55. Our entrees were brought to the table at 7. Felt a little rushed. 7:10 we were done. Had to ask for the dessert menu. Check was placed on the table at 7:20...didn't get picked up until 7:35. Apps, drinks, meal and dessert under an hour. Didn't feel relaxed at all

We reserved a table for 6 for a college graduation celebration which we probably didn't need but wanted to ensure availability near home. Service was timely, bread was delicious and pizza was very good. One party member ordered linguini carbonara which came with shrimp (not requested and an additional $12) but no sauce until it was delivered separately halfway through the meal despite asking if the correct dish was served. The steamed mussels were super spicy (just an fyi as we were told they were mild-I thought they were quite tasty but the individual who ordered them needed extra bread to help ease the heat). Chicken parm and bolognese were very tasty. For some reason during dinner an employee vacuumed for about 5 minutes with a very loud machine in the same room as our table which seemed excessive as there didn't appear to be any great need at the time. The restaurant was not very full so perhaps she thought it better than if it was full. Ok experience but could have been better

Very happy that DaCapo was open on Easter as we had a small family he together in a nice setting. Food was exceptional and the menu choices vast. The service and our server was excellent. Highly recommend dining here.

After waiting a while for service, the manager and server arrived and apologized for the long wait. “The first round is on us,” the manager said and smiled. Didn't happen. The meal took a long time to arrive, and, when it did, it was a disappointment of flavor and look. With the loud dining room, my companion and I had trouble talking and hearing each other during dining. She asked a server (not ours) for a to-go box. When one of the hostesses returned with the packaged leftovers, the top was askew and noodles were literally hanging out of the container. “I'm sorry. I dropped it on the floor. Do you still want it?” No, we said. We paid our bill and left—never to return to de Capo. Maybe some enjoy the restaurant, maybe some even think it's good and/or pleasant, but those must never leave Avon and must have never encountered pleasant dining.
We continue to return to da Capo for the consistent high quality of their food. Along with excellent starters like the Cesar salad and da Capo chips, we enjoy the variety of entree options. We never regret choosing this restaurant for our Friday or Saturday evening meal.

Had a night out with a couple of friends and loved this place! Ended up being there on half price bottle of wine night, so that didn't hurt. Ordered calamari for the table, delicious! Entrees were steak, chicken salad, and scallops. All of them were amazing! We followed it up with a chocolate mousse cake, which just melted in your mouth. Highly recommend for any occasion.

We have never had a bad meal here. Love the energy and atmosphere of the place - nothing pretentious about the staff or the food. Highly recommended the amazingly thin and crispy eggplant and zucchini “Da Capo” chips. Delicious chicken parm, pasta bolognese and other Italian dishes. But best of all is the pizza and the seasoned pork chop. Decent bar atmosphere, which, admittedly, is right next to the dining area. But it's additional seating and nothing wild.
