☕ Dom’s Coffee is one of our favorite little spots in Avon. I love bringing my daughter and mother here — it’s the perfect cozy place to catch up and enjoy some quality time together. Their teas are always beautifully brewed and full of flavor, and the sandwiches are fresh, thoughtfully made, and just the right size for a satisfying lunch.
We also can’t resist treating ourselves to their ice cream, which is wonderfully creamy and comes in fun flavors that everyone enjoys. The atmosphere at Dom’s is bright and inviting, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. It’s truly a gem in Avon — whether we’re stopping in for a relaxing afternoon or grabbing something to go, we always leave happy.
Dom's is easily one of the best coffee shops around! Their food is consistently delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is fantastic, with both cozy indoor and refreshing outdoor seating. You're guaranteed to love whatever you order, they truly never disappoint!
I have never had anything but a pleasant experience here. Today I ordered a peaches and cream latte, one of their special drinks, and it was ready before I could step away from the counter. Sweet, fast staff, excellent atmosphere, delicious drinks.
What a fabulous choice of drinks! I couldn't choose, all of them were to original and tasty (like peaches and cream or white lavander latte)! Prepared in a whim and extremely tasty.
We got catering for my daughter’s birthday party and everything was so good!
Lavender white mocha latte!!! So good! I've gotten a few things here. Great place! Fast friendly service. Cute shop! Definitely recommend!
Dom's is a favorite of mine! It's great for co-working during the week with a hot coffee and something delicious to eat. The atmosphere is awesome and on the weekends it is absolutely bustling. Totally recommend for a quick stop or a longer afternoon!

Dom’s is a great little coffee place in the heart of a cute little New England village area with breakfast lunch and ice cream shop with hot dogs next door.

Last time I was here 2 years ago, it was a super clean welcoming shop, they also had great espresso served by professionals who were all knowledgeable and able to answer coffee related questions and loved and encouraged talking coffee with customers. I would watch other customers drinks come out with cool designs like flowers, swans, or even designs that no other shop in the state was doing at the time. They took that extra care about the quality and presentation. Came in again about 2 weeks ago when visiting the area, the place was dirty with crumbs all over the ground and a bit of a sour milk odor. I figured it was a busy day and proceeded to order, I would ask about what types of coffees they had on and didn’t have the slightest clue about what they were serving outside of light, medium, or dark roast. I waited an about 5 mins for my shot, and noticed that they did away with the designs and all the mugs had blobs of foam on top like you’d see at Starbucks. Then I get my drink and it was the worst espresso I’ve ever had (it was bitter and harsh like you’d get if you order a shot at Starbucks) and seems like the new staff doesn’t have the slightest clue about what’s going on or what they are doing. It seems like they hired a bunch a teenagers who don’t care like you’d find at McDonald’s. Sad because this was my favorite shop in ct, but next time I’ll find another REAL 3rd wave shop in the area, because clearly this shop has lost it’s touch and it doesn’t feel like it’s even the same amazing shop I visited 2 years ago that I had a such a positive experience at.
Not only did they mess up my order once but after I told them exactly what I wanted and that I have an allergy they made me the same drink causing me to have an allergic reaction. I love Dom’s but I won’t be going back for the indefinite future.

Excellent cheese selection, woman serving us at the cheese counter was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Coffee and sandwiches excellent as well.

Is it complancy due to a lack of competition or does CT lack the coffee culture necessary to nurture a consistent coffee shop. Not sure, but truly had one of the worst cortados of my life today. I'm not sure the barista was given a fair chance as the beans looked gnarly. "Dark Roast" and "Italian influenced" beans don't belong in a third wave shop. That garbage is for starbucks. It's a shame because they have the demand. Do I need to open a place myself?

I love going to Dom’s. Their food quality and service are top notch. I love the strawberry chai lattes and just expanded my horizons and tried the ice cream. Truly decadent. Their baked goods are so yummy and their breakfasts are real comfort food. If you haven’t tried them, you are truly missing out on the deliciousness. Everyone I’ve encountered who works there are so nice too. Best coffee house and ice cream in town.
