Very busy making it difficult for our waitress to keep up. Food was excellent, excellent scallop dinner, pizza was good, lasagna excellent but small in size. A good experience overall.

My husband and I adventured here for valentines and had the filet mignon and it was amazing…cooked perfectly . From the hostess to our server to the chef all perfection. We were so pleased. We will back. Thank you for making our first dinner out so romantic and tasty.

Everyone from the hostess to the waitress acknowledged we were celebrating our anniversary as I checked the box while making online reservations. The service was second to none. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was wonderful and they even came by to give us a special “bite” because of our anniversary. The drinks were also excellent. I also appreciated how nothing was rushed so we could truly enjoy our time together and each course.

It was my first time at Max a Mia Ristorante . We walked in and was sat right away. The food was excellent. Started off with the Tuscan salad and for my entree had the eggplant lasagna. Both of my dishes were delicious. Plus the service was terrific.

As always, awesome food! I've been going to Max a Mia for 15 years and it's a family favorite! Unfortunately, last night was the first time that we experienced bad service - the server forgot a lot of things, and then very rarely checked back on us for water, etc... very impersonal... unlike the rest of the excellent server staff! I'm moving from CT and will always have fond memories of my many dinners at Max a Mia!

Max A Mia never disappoints. Delicious food, friendly ambience and thoughtful service. Makayla was so patient with us! Questioned her about EVERYTHING + she answered all with a genuine smile. Needless to say, we'll be back.

I've been to Max Burger so I thought this would good too. It was just okay. Unfortunately, it was par and there are so many other Italian restaurants in the area that are better. Maybe one day, I can try it again.
Food was delicious and full of flavor. Served was bit inattentive for a restaurant like this with having to ask repeatedly for refills while having long gaps in between checking in. This was early-afternoon so not busy. However, will definitely be back because of the great care that goes into making the food.

The entrée in question was the Carbonara, featuring pasta, pancetta, peas, and a creamy sauce, likely made with egg yolk and Italian cheese. The dish was prepared with high-quality ingredients, resulting in a rich and creamy flavor. However, I found myself reaching for the salt shaker, expecting the pancetta to provide the necessary seasoning. The abundance of peas further contributed to the dish's under-seasoned taste, overshadowing the pancetta's natural saltiness. My suggestion would be to reduce the number of peas and increase the pancetta to balance the flavors better.
Unfortunately, due to these issues, I can't justify giving this Carbonara a four-star review.

The Max restaurant group is always a wonderful experience, and this place did not disappoint. Waitress was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, food was delicious. The eggplant lasagna it was particularly wonderful. The broccoli rabe with sausage was so so hot/spicy I couldn’t eat it. I took it home and mixed it up with some other leftovers.
