Expectation is important if you go to this location. Some of the items are authentic and amazing, like the spicy wonton and pork belly fried rice. Some of the items are more of an “express” option, let’s call it that. There’s basically no service. They don’t expect people to sit down and eat. But the price is very economical.

Takeout review:I read that this is not your normal Chinese takeout spot so I had to check it out. They serve authentic Chinese Szechuan cuisine and has locations in West Hartford and Fairfield. I ordered the hot appetizer, Chengdu Dumplings which are steamed pork dumplings with their special garlic sauce; this was sweet, spicy, and in hot chili oil. I came here with no expectations. But the food reminded me what happiness felt like.True balance in ingredients. Texture, flavors, and the temperature were on point.If I ever find myself craving for some Chinese food, and if i’m not too far, I will come here.
