Changed my review because of the service. although the ice cream is great, Today the experience was not good. I brought family that lives overseas after bragging about how much we like here. The older lady was very nice however the younger girl was quite rude. We got our ice creams and we were looking to get some cheese, butter, and other things to take home. The girl then tells us to leave and have our ice creams outside. This was at 515 pm. More people were coming in. I understand that her shift was almost over, but honestly I wasn't expecting to be rushed out of the store. Usually I don't leave negative reviews, but I hope management figures⁰ out that service is also part of the experience.

4 stars for the ice cream: I tried the seasonal Eggnog, which was good but not their best. Other flavors they have, like raspberry or sour cherry, are among my favorite ice cream flavors of all time.0 for the service: I am not prone to negative reviews, but I couldn't stay silent for this occasion. My family and I visited the Arethusa Farm Dairy in Bantam on Sunday, 2/11, around 3:30 pm. There were two young women behind the counter taking orders, and by the time we got to the store, it was just my family and another group still pondering the list of flavors. One attendant started preparing my daughter's order when a third one came in asking if she could serve any ice cream. I told her my order, and she began preparing it. The first attendant handed me my daughter's ice cream and asked if anything was left in my order. I said, yes, my ice cream, thinking she was totaling it before payment. When she proceeded to prepare my ice cream, I stopped her, explaining that her colleague was already doing it. In response, this first attendant yelled back at me, "SHE IS GETTING YOUR ICE CREAM?" with such irritation that it felt like she was scolding me. I should have said something, but nothing nice would have come out. So I just paid and left.

Amazing ice cream. Everyone is always so pleasant to deal with here. My favorites are the rum raisin and the pumpkin pie which is seasonal.

No eggnog two days before Xmas. Drove 40 minutes for absolutely nothing. But if you eat ice cream in the middle of winter, they have plenty of that nonsense.

I only gave three stars because we purchased two pints of the seasonal flavor cranberry chocolate chunk to take home. We did not have a lot of interaction with staff. We really liked the cranberry chocolate chunk but felt it could use a bit more of the chocolate chunks. The amount of cranberry was exceptional, and we would purchase again.We did go back and purchase two more pints. One of the pints of cranberry chocolate chunk only had 11 cranberries and 2 chunks of chocolate. Unfortunately, consistency may be an issue. At $7.99 a pint I do expect more of the additives than that. The flavor of the ice cream is really good and it is smooth and creamy.

Best ice cream I have ever had. It doesn't matter if it's 30 degrees outside and snowing, I'm going to Arethusa. It was one of the most recommended spots while I was in the area and I'm glad I got to go more than once. I'll defiantly be going again when I'm in the area.
