She makes the croissants and English muffin bread from scratch, and uses the thickest bacon around on her sandwiches. Everyday there’s something new in the baked goods case, and I never regret getting it (cough cough carrot cake cheese cake coffee cake) 🤤. Love hearts is truly a hidden gem”

“The food and atmosphere were top notch. The service was lacking. Our waiter was busy bussing tables. It was cinco fe Mayo when we visited for dinner. Our waiter told us to order apps and dinner together since the kitchen was so busy. BUT our food came out right away. I think the poor waiter was overwhelmed since it was busy. We will be back. *Try the Margaritas!”

“Outstanding restaurant! (and we do a lot of our dining in NYC!) Local 63 is an oasis in Watertown, CT in a variety of ways. The food is creative (even when the dish SOUNDS traditional). The chicken fried steak (hard to even find in New England) is outstanding. The salads were awesome: perfectly dressed with great crunch and freshness. The Cassoulet (originally a French farmhouse dish) with chicken, in-house sausage, and white beans cooked to perfection is something you will not find in many other places. Great bar--friendly atmosphere and great for large groups and celebrations. This is a hidden gem with excellent service and owners who obviously care! I will go back and bring many other guests here when I have a chance.”

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)”
