“we showed up today (5/26) around 1:30 with 10 bikes ...11 people total and was turned away by the hostess with an attitude "We don't have room for you" not given a wait time or any type of accommodation. We road from Bellingham, MA ( a pretty long distance). I've never gone to a restaurant and have that restaurant turn away business. I do not recommend even though it's known as a "biker friendly" restaurant.”

“Not a Vegan by any means, but stopped here on a whim between two of my Thursday drum circle meets. The food is amazing. I have tried a couple of different meals. Pedro and Amy are wonderful people who go out of their way to suggest menu choices. This is now my Thursday place to eat between my two drum circle events. Also game night on Fridays brings in people of all ages.”

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.”

Service was also excellent.
And while the outside of the building is a bit underwhelming, the restaurant up one floor is warm and inviting.”

“have been to Brinx twice. Both times I had the everything bagel with cheese, egg and bacon. The bagel is slightly toasted and is both soft and tasty. They give plenty of cheese and plenty of bacon for the very reasonable price of $7.00, which is unmatched anywhere. The young man who serves is friendly and pleasant. The place looks a bit dusty but the tables are clean and the coffee is very good. I highly recommend this place.”
