“My first visit was last February for my birthday. My friend had pre-arranged for the 5 course tasting menu/pairing. It was the perfect introduction to the restaurant and the culinary talents of Chef David. When a close friend had a milestone birthday I knew this would be the perfect locale given his Italian heritage. He’s picky on bread since he makes his own - he couldn’t get enough of it and was excited to find out it was made on site! Recently, when I saw the braised rabbit filled buttons I knew I had to return. Since it was just me and a last minute decision I was thrilled to get a spot at the bar. I can tell you the attention was exactly the same as if I were in the main dining room. First time visitors should splurge on the tasting menu! Grazie mille Chef David and the entire friendly team.”

“I received a gift certificate & I really can’t use it. When E59 first opened. I did go there, because I think they opened earlier. Now, their hours of operation don’t cater to early morning customers. When I say early. I mean, at least by 8:00AM. Their hours don’t make sense for the type of business! It’s a five star business, except for their hours of operation.”

“One of the better dining experiences that can be had in Connecticut. Michelin star quality without the price. The staff is extremely personable and makes you feel as if you are the only person in the restaurant. They are very knowledgeable about the menu. The presentation and taste of the food is exceptional. The food is farm to table with fresh ingredients. The dining room is dimly lit and intimate. The experience has been consistent the 5 times that I have visited.”
“Amazing!!! I stopped in Sat. 3/9/24. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with ham & cheese in Gluten Free bread. They toasted the bread and the egg was cooked to perfection! Such helpful staff and so grateful for the GF bread. I will be back.????”

“The fricken best. Hands down. Owners an OG from the Gambino neighborhood. Marinara sauce takes 10 hrs to make and uses organic san marzanos. These guys know what's up. I come out here once a year for a race at limerock and Deanos is always a stop on the way out. Gentleman this is the guy from Rochester who asked for whatever marinara sauce you could part with and told you he didn't care what it cost.So we always order calzones and guys......I gotta say......this fricken meat baby you put together for me was next level alright? From the quality of the rocioitta to the beautiful mozz that was stuffed inside this perfect dough baby. Look a chicken pepp and spinach calzone is not supposed to taste this good. Especially for $12 come on..and the homemade sauce on top of that? I'm talking we got tomato seeds, fresh basil (which is sweet as all hell, just beautiful basil) onions that you know have been sweating for a minute. Next time im down that way I'm gonna have to call in a gallon order of that sauce.Long story short. Good people. Good pies. Good calzones. Damn good ingredients and it shows. You guys get it. “Wild how the universe brings people together and where the days as well as moments go. T'was my birthday yesterday and I was just rolling with the day. Started off working out then went for a hike in Morris. After that bumped into a buddy and started to geek out on some home roasted and brewed java. Then trying to keep the cup filled we ventured to the Krafted Brew Lab and I was enriched with flavors conversations and beautiful people. I am somewhat of a recluse but am spreading my wings glad to have landed there yesterday. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to get back up there. Much respect to y'all!!!”
“Beautiful outdoor place to spend a weekend. Next to vineyard, there’s an Hopkin’s Inn unaffiliated however. We loved that’s there’s a live music. Sampled a variety of spirits. Wonderful atmosphere!!!”

“The food here is very good. Ate here for the first time for brunch on my birthday. Everything I ate was extremely fresh and flavorful. The dressing for the house salad was very good, the chicken tacos were some of the best I’ve had, but weren’t that hot when they came out, and omlettes and home fries are very good too. Only complaint I had was regarding the service. I can tell the service is generally good, but it seems like maybe I got unlucky. Our food was taking very long and we expected the salad and tacos to come out first since they were appetizers, but they did not. We were also brought the wrong omlettes initially so they had to be remade. Our waitress was still very nice, though, and our experience was good overall.”

“Incredible food, great service, and did I mention absolutely incredible food? They have so many vegan and vegetarian options which I really appreciate. The vegetarian breakfast burrito is amazing. The soups are great and everything on the cold salad bar is fantastic as well. Great for to go or dine-in, I recommend eating outside there's so much more space and it's very nice they have plenty of chairs and tables.”

“Started off with the calamari, which was heavily battered but the calamari was tender and they had a lemony tarter sauce to dip it in. I had an everything burger which was charred grilled and delicious with sweet potato fries, and my wife had the quiche with a garden salad that she enjoyed immensely.”

“The kind of restaurant I'll remember as a "must-go" for years to come anytime I'm in the area. I started with the peasant bread, and that alone would have made the visit worthwhile. The beet salad, grilled salmon, and homemade ravioli were uniquely flavorful and fresh too. Between the classy and casual ambiance, the fresh food, and the top-notch service/ hospitality, West Street Grill delivered in every way imaginable and blew past all expectations. The staff are so passionate about their craft, and went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible dining experience. The entire staff and owner couldn't have been more welcoming. I'm confident this restaurant will host memorable meals and special moments for years to come. 10/10 recommend- I can't wait to go back. Thank you for a lovely meal!”

“What a WONDERFUL little throw-back of a diner! The servers are absolutely charming (thank you to the beautiful, jewelry-making Christina), pricing is circa 1995, there's a great children's menu -- and there is clearly some skill in this kitchen, generally. I love that you get unlimited refills on coffee ($2), which was actually quite decent by diner standards. Where else can you find that nowadays?! Eggs were well prepared and fluffy across the board. I loved that my veggie omelet ($8.75) came generously filled with sauteed mushrooms, sweet peppers, and onions. It came with toast and a side of either fruit or home fries. The multigrain, which our server disclosed was from a bakery in NY, was fresh, well slathered with butter, and far better than it had to be as a non-headline component of the meal. Home fries were beautifully seasoned, though I do prefer mine a little more browned. Fruit salad on our visit included a slice of melon, a few grapes and a slice of orange.Our eight year old got a children's meal with one egg, home fries, toast and juice ($4.50). She enjoyed her fluffy scrambled eggs, which she ate sandwiched between two halves of a generously buttered English muffin. My only nitpick: You could taste a touch of margarine in the eggs, which I personally detest. Still, the food was head and shoulders better than (and half as expensive as) anything you can find at Mohawk Mountain, where we are usually resigned to grub. We are so, so thrilled to find this sweet little place a hop and a skip away from the mountain. It's a perfect place to refuel after early morning ski practice!”

“As I was travelling through the area and growing hangry, I was in the mood for a good Chilidog. It appears they use Hummel hotdogs. This place had delightful chilidogs, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, and lots of other great food options.Unfortunately, I dropped my dog before finishing it, but I was able to eat most of it and it was all I had hoped for.The staff here is friendly and kind.Getting in and out is fairly smooth and easy, although while I was inside, my wife happened to see some guys roll in on motorcycles and one of them dumped their bike on the gravel driveway. She did say he seemed to be o.k., although I figure he must have been embarrassed and who knows if the bike got damaged. If you're rolling in on two wheels, use caution and be safe.FYI, this place is cash only, which is fine with me. Just wanted to mention it because I know some people rely on their credit cards.Overall, this is a great place to make a pitstop while out for a scenic ride in and through the area...”

“Goshen Pizza is a hidden gem! Easily, the best thin-crust pizza I've ever had, and their garlic knots are to die for! I remember the first time I went there when they had just opened, and they sure have come a long way with the renovations and additional seating area! Resmi, the owner, is a really nice guy, and his staff is excellent!”

“If you are looking for a GOOD delicious coffee then youve found the right place. I traveled the entire state trying to find a good ice coffee that didnt taste like burnt stale coffee. So happy i found this place.Coffee is AMAZING and food is delicious. Highly recommend!”

“We were blown away by the exceptional service. The level of professionalism was refreshing. The staff could have been trained at Downton Abby! We have found the gold standard to which all servers should be compared. The food was simply amazing. My Mole Pork Chop was tender and juicy with an unexpected, and greatly appreciated, subtle crisp on the outside. We will be back, w/ friends!!”

“We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!”

“Excellent all around. We started off with local beer on tap and a plate of aranci. Chicken trombette and steak neo with afresh greens and balsam side salad were perfect. Finished with an espresso and ordered a hot cheese pie to go. Cozy, clean environment. Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Quality of food and quantity of food was very reasonable. Full belly, Happy heart.”

“It has been quite awhile since our last visit to the Village restaurant, nothing has changed to our delight! Great Service, Good food and my favorite Fried Oysters is as good as I remembered. Such a wonderful meal in a charming pub setting in a beautiful town of Litchfield.”

“The food was exceptionally delicious, and the experience was very pleasant. You don't get a menu, you eat what the chef brings out. We had six courses. Officially it was five, the amuse bouche was substantial like an appetizer. Wasabi ice cream that was part of the amuse bouche started out the dinner with a bang. I really enjoyed it. It was followed by soup. Then a chicken dish, then a seafood dish, then a beef dish. Each one was excellent with interesting sides and sauces. Then coffee and dessert. The dinner lasted three hours. $140 per person. Plenty of free parking in the front.”
