“My husband and I usually order for pick-up, it's quick and easy. I love their scallion pancakes, I get them every time. For a meal I go between pho, green curry, hot basil fried rice, or the sweet and sour stir fry.”

High quality and taste, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting. What made it more special was the generosity and hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, treating us like family and making sure every detail was taken care of. Georges kindness and attention made a big difference and allowed us to fully enjoy such an important day. I highly recommend this restaurant. We’re truly grateful for such a memorable celebration!”

As a solo diner, ordering a pizza—as recommended—wasn’t practical for me, but the packed parking lot on a Thursday night was a great sign that the locals truly enjoy this place. The process is simple: place your order, then choose a table. A unique touch was receiving a playing card as my order number. I ordered the meatballs and Italian-seasoned wings, along with a house Cabernet. No Spirits here, but great selection of Barley pops and wine however. For an extra nickel, I received a refill token in the form of a casino coin—such a novel idea that I had to play along. The drink service lagged a bit, either because the restaurant was busy or because I failed to pick up my Cabernet at the counter. The meatballs arrived first: three large, flavorful meatballs served in a ramekin with marinara and melted cheese. I chose three meatballs with a side salad instead of four, and it was the perfect amount. The wings arrived shortly after I finished. I chose the Italian-seasoned, baked wings. They were very tasty, although I generally prefer fried wings—though the baked option was probably the better choice for me that evening. Overall, this was a very reasonably priced dinner, and I didn’t feel too bad passing on one of the amazing-looking pizzas. Torrington has clearly maintained the East Coast pizza tradition and reputation. A stop here won’t disappoint.”

“This amazing Sports bar restaurant and Pub gets 5 Big Stars.I was really impressed with the delicious diverse menu... great entrees and appetizers to choose... I really like this place. Very personal locals and staff. Upbeat ..friendly vibe... Nostalgic historic decorations along the walls with flat screen TVs. Interesting artwork with a lot of history. Adds a nice flare as you look around. Very tastefully decorated... I would definitely come back and have brunch or dinner and just chill out... This is a very classy place in Torrington”

“have been to Brinx twice. Both times I had the everything bagel with cheese, egg and bacon. The bagel is slightly toasted and is both soft and tasty. They give plenty of cheese and plenty of bacon for the very reasonable price of $7.00, which is unmatched anywhere. The young man who serves is friendly and pleasant. The place looks a bit dusty but the tables are clean and the coffee is very good. I highly recommend this place.”

“I do prefer the DQ up north a little more, its so loud at this location- they always get our order wrong but I think its because they have such a hard time hearing us order. the ice cream is just bland vanilla, or white I should say cuz I don't think there's actually any vanilla in it. my daughter buys into the toppings, But I do not.”

“It was our first time here, the waitress was very friendly and attentive, the food was amazing , with large portions.we had the Mediterranean Seafood over Linguine, then Tiramisu for dessert. Next time I’m in Torrington ,we will be back!!”

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)”
