“WOW! I placed a takeout order and was completely blown away by how good it was. I ordered the drunken noodles with scallops and asked for them Thai hot—and they absolutely delivered on the spice level.

I really appreciate that, because sometimes restaurants seem hesitant to make a dish truly spicy. Not here! If you love heat, you’ll be very happy.

Side note, I think someone made a mistake and put someone else food in my bag. It was a cocanut chicken dish that I did not order. I was already 30 minutes away when I noticed it so I guess I'll try that for lunch tomorrow. I'll be back!”

High quality and taste, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting. What made it more special was the generosity and hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, treating us like family and making sure every detail was taken care of. Georges kindness and attention made a big difference and allowed us to fully enjoy such an important day. I highly recommend this restaurant. We’re truly grateful for such a memorable celebration!”

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)”

“This amazing Sports bar restaurant and Pub gets 5 Big Stars.I was really impressed with the delicious diverse menu... great entrees and appetizers to choose... I really like this place. Very personal locals and staff. Upbeat ..friendly vibe... Nostalgic historic decorations along the walls with flat screen TVs. Interesting artwork with a lot of history. Adds a nice flare as you look around. Very tastefully decorated... I would definitely come back and have brunch or dinner and just chill out... This is a very classy place in Torrington”

“This small town either gets a place that thinks their gonna rule the world and putter out in 3 months, or they get a lasting addition that warmly welcomed into the community. This seems, and is hopefully, the latter of the two. The guy that was working the counter was patient, professional, and welcoming. He accommodated customers who had no idea how or what to order with that type of food, and adjusted flawlessly to those of us that have traveled and know what we like. I really appreciated this place, a chain that doesn't feel like a chain. Great experience.”
