“I stopped in this fine little deli this morning and picked up an Italian combination sandwich with everything they normally add on minus the mustard. The sandwich was good. The older gentleman is really on his game and seemed to be training his younger protege…Even when you tell them, you’ll have everything on there, they still verify you want the peppers, including the hot peppers, which is good. They have lots of other good options here and place a small store attached as well.I have been meaning to stop here for quite some time, and I’m glad I finally did it. They seem to have a steady flow of customers, but get you in & out fairly quickly.”
“First time here and got a flight. They seem to specialize in red dessert wines over white. As someone who doesn’t drink red wine, the deep purple and midnight were very good. Not too bitter/sweet.”
“Revised review, food isn't as good, prices went way up . Our $13 breakfast is now almost $30 and it's not as good. Wait staff is excellent but we don't go anymore, partly for cost, partly for quality of ”
“We visited Jerram Winery for a wine tasting with a group of friends and family on 11/4. Thank you for accommodating our group. From thehospitality from all the staff, the wine tasting and letting us bring food in to enjoy was perfect! We had such a great time. Thank you Mike and your parents. Will be visiting again. Thanks Donna”
“Very beautiful New England orchard , we have a wonderful time chatting with the owner, they offer all the typical variety of apples plus bake goods!!! We will definitely be back !!!”
“Me and my mom always used to go here every wednesday, we became well known with the owner (pete) and one of their now former workers, they raised their prices so we had to cut back and stop eating here but it is an amazing place with delicious pizza and I recommend!!”
“Stopped by for brunch on a weekday on a whim. The place was quiet but we were greeted right away by a friendly waitress. She said we can sit anywhere and brought us over crayons, paper, and paper bags for our toddler to play with.I ordered coffee and eggs benedict; the eggs benedict was good, saucy, and came with home fries. I was feeling extra hungry so I also had Belgian waffles on the side (these were HUGE). The service was great; the waitress was attentive and always checking up on us. The food came out fast and delicious. Overall, a great dining experience and will be back!Kid-friendliness: Provided crayons and paper to play with”
“Stopped in with my (vegetarian) adult son for a Sunday lunch after a hike. Great beer selection including craft brews, appetizers (first ever fried pickles!), main courses. Excellent service, historic mill ambience.”
“We ordered online and picked up the food. The amount of food was plentiful; they weren't stingy. The side of white rice was the only thing that was small. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered chicken lo mein, orange chicken, general tso chicken, and crab rangoons. I've never seen freshly cut oranges in the orange chicken; it was good! My only complaint was it was super saucy, the chicken was bathing in it. I had a taste of the general tso and I like that it little bit more because it had a spicy kick to it. Now for the showstoppers! The chicken lo mein was probably one of the best lo meins I've had, it was flavorful and I found myself just eating more of that than the other dishes. The crab rangoons were also one of the best I've had. Usually at other Chinese restaurants, they skimp on the filling, the filling is bland, and the wonton is too chewy. These crab rangoons were the complete opposite. I love them! Overall, I am a fan of this place and will be ordering from them again.”
“I went in today to buy a batch of gift cards as presents for employees and a very sweet young gentleman named Anthony helped me at the front counter. He made the transaction very easy and he was very friendly and respectful. I got a small coffee afterwards as well and he made it perfectly. He's a gem, hang on to him.”
“Came across this fabulous new Indian restaurant. The kids, wife, and I were very happy with the quality of food (unique menu), delicious flavor, and outstanding service! Would recommend to everyone - new favorite Indian restaurant in CT for sure”
“What a great spot for an event. I met up with one of my business groups and wow they put on a wonderful spread. I mean there were shrimp tacos and pretzel bites and nachos and tuna and salad. I was too busy to eat the salad but it looked gorgeous. I had wine and it was light and crisp. Lovely staff by the way which is always ”
“Just checked it out this am for a scrumptious SEC Bfast Wrap and an Iced Mocha! We will def be regulars!! Amazing service with a smile and delicious vittles!! A++++++”
“Lovely bakery with lots of fresh baked options. I went in for my first time today and got almond croissant, cinnamon buns and the fococia and they were all delicious! They make breakfast sandwiches and other savory items as well. I will definitely be coming back!”
“Some of the best food I've eaten since leaving NYC. The veal was delicious, the marinara sauce, Perfect! Blue cheese dressing on the salad -Deliziosa. Italian bread warmed perfectly, butter softened, NOT hard as a brick(that's always annoyed me!!). Subdued lighting, and a very nice atmosphere. Service was top notch. My only gripe is this... We sat(4 of us) at a table surrounded by 2, maybe 3 Large parties of 6+ people, and it was difficult to hear our own conversation... Didn't matter while we were eating...we were much too busy enjoying the food. Excellent work Mario's chef's, and staff. EXCELLENT WORK! This restaurant will be added to our regular, and favorite places for Italian food. They also have steaks, and burgers too. .....Till next time.Parking: Unless you are fortunate, be prepared for a bit of a walk. There is parking on the street in front of the restaurant, across the street from the restaurant, and surrounding area. It's not a difficult walk, and WORTH it!”
“New experience, it's great pouring yourself a beer or make your own tasting, great variety of beers, some wine and hard ciders, good service, the food looks good, I didn't try the food.”
“We Went in for Valentine’s Day dinner. It Very busy, full of customers. We had the shrimp for appetiser, dinner was Basil Duck (which was fabulous, definitely would order this again!) and Chicken/coconut Curry (also very yummy) We had a delicious dessert of homemade chocolate mousse which was perfect! Reasonable prices for as much food as they serve! Very nice staff and we had an excellent meal and servers and staff were very wonderful and made the experience great!! A gem hiding in plain sight here in Canton!”
“Alway unique food and drink , delicious doesn’t even begin to describe it. The cozy, homey atmosphere and excellent entertainment make this a perfect spot any night!”
“My husband and I love stopping in here for an occassional weekend breakfast/brunch. Staff are very friendly and make us feel at home. There are so many wonderful options for meals or small items, and the portions are a pretty good size! I always leave here feeling full and ready to tackle the day! Oh...and my husband loves it too!”
“A legend in our town. Delicious “old school” Ice Cream, service, and a grassroots farm that allows walking trails throughout. Literally a treasure and well worth an excursion to find if you have not.”
“Despite the food being made fresh, they cannot handle any simple adjustments to the menu, even just not rolling the food in the bread. They said they would have to charge to make their job easier, when the resturant was basically empty.”
“Small little place with a nice atmosphere and good drinks/ food. The bacon egg and cheese on a croissant was massive (think 2-3x Dunkin size) and my Spanish latte was excellent.”
“We had a wonderful meal last night at Avon Indian Grill. They were very patient with our talkative group of seven, explaining foods and spice levels. After a slight delay in the kitchen, we were brought two extra appetizers that the owner wanted us to try. And later, two desserts were brought out as well. All of the food was delicious, and everyone was able to take some home as well. The staff even played a joke on us! A great time. We honestly don’t understand why it isn’t busier. Please try it out!”
“My friend and I stumbled upon this culinary delight and were incredibly pleased. The food and service were outstanding - my scallops (and everything else) were cooked perfectly. It is BYOB with a liquor store very conveniently next door. It is a small interior, so definitely recommend making reservations for a large party. We can't wait to return.”
“Icecream flavors were fun and the scoop size is very generous. We had the black raspberry and charcoal flavors.Wonderful ambience. We went in December and so the decoration was holiday themed, but even otherwise I think the space lends to a relaxing atmosphere.Parking: Parking behind the buildingKid-friendliness: Plenty room for kids to sit around”
“We had our clubs annual banquet at Noujaim’s last weekend. The food was amazing, staff was friendly and professional, and Chef George was a very gracious host! Would highly recommend for a night out or an event.”
“My girlfriend Sharon and I went to this restaurant for our Valentines dinner last week and wow incredible!! It was amazing and worth the trip from Simsbury Ct !! We will definitely be back!! Respectfully Patrick and Sharon!!”
“Honestly, the best bbq my husband and I have ever eaten. I got the kielbasa and corn bread and he got a full rack of the St. Louis ribs. We got some coleslaw and collard greens to go afterwards. The taste is perfection. A little smoky but not over powering. The cornbread is so soft and moist and with a little butter just makes it that much better. The ribs were so tender and juicy with excellent flavors. We will be coming back here again soon!I highly recommend trying this place. They have outdoor seating as well. Staff was real nice and got the food out to us fast!!”
“Wonderful people who've built a great sense of community, but most of all, who brew consistently extraordinarily terrific beer. Stouts, Belgian ales, lagers, Kolsches, IPAs, DIPAs, sours, hard seltzers, and more. Honestly, I've *never* had a bad glass of beer at Brewery Legitimus.”
