“My favorite Thai restaurant currently in the greater Hartford area. The food reminds me of my mom's cooking. I make the trip from Hartford To New Britain whenever I want a piece of home. This small quaint restaurant packs a punch and doesn't hold back on flavor. While some places water down the flavor to cater to a broader audience Mai (the owner) chefs it up as if she is in her home kitchen cooking for family. You taste the loving in her cooking. There is limited seating but when you get the chance order a few dishes with friends or family and share the meal Thai style. You can always order in advance and pick up or utilize a delivery service. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Mai (pronounced May) and tell her Ty sent you. She will make sure you're taken care of.”

“What a great spot for an event. I met up with one of my business groups and wow they put on a wonderful spread. I mean there were shrimp tacos and pretzel bites and nachos and tuna and salad. “The first time we tried to go there, everything was sold out, so they closed early. The second time, I made sure to order ahead prior to pick up. The place was so cute with a sit in area that had your typical cafe vibes. I was surprised there were items left when I went to pick up my order the next morning (Friday) at 11 am. Everything in the showcase looked mouthwatering. I admittedly plan to try everything haha. They sell French and southern inspired pastries. The story of their family immigrating from Laos to the US was similar to my family from Cambodia. It's inspiring to see them become successful! The prices were high but the products were quality; I think it's worth it.I ordered an iced chai latte to go as well; this drink was good. I'm looking forward to trying their hand crafted lemonades next time. The showstoppers were the pastries. I ordered the cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissant, Southern sticky pecan buns, and egg in a hole.The egg in the hole was amazing. I was only planning to take a bite since I already ate my lunch. I couldn't stop and ended up finishing it. It has egg, cheese, chives, and chopped ham/bacon in a croissant. The sticky pecan bun was buttery and sweet; the candied pecans had a sugary crunch to it; the most amazing sticky bun I've ever tasted. My husband had the cinnamon bun and said 10/10. Pro tip: put in microwave for 5-10 seconds, even better. In conclusion, I will be back sooner rather than later!”

“We had a group of 7 and opted for the table wide chefs 5 course tasting menu. It was excellent... A bit pricy at $85/head, but definitely uniquely flavorful and deliberately paired. An additional $50 or so gives you a wine pairing with each course as well. Definitely would try it again as the menu is ever changing and evolving with the seasons.”

“We Went in for Valentine’s Day dinner. It Very busy, full of customers. We had the shrimp for appetiser, dinner was Basil Duck (which was fabulous, definitely would order this again!) and Chicken/coconut Curry (also very yummy) We had a delicious dessert of homemade chocolate mousse which was perfect! Reasonable prices for as much food as they serve! Very nice staff and we had an excellent meal and servers and staff were very wonderful and made the experience great!! A gem hiding in plain sight here in Canton!”

“This was our 2nd time here and it confirmed why we came back. We originally visited a while back for one of their coffee flights (limited edition) and it was delicious. “This place is a hidden gem. Mom and I went for a late breakfast today. We were seated immediately and had a great table near the window with plenty of sunshine on this cold day. Our server Christopher was the BEST! We ordered the 2 special French toast dishes, one with pineapple and coconut and the the other with berries and cream. We also got bacon on the side. The food was AWESOME! Best bacon we’ve had out ever! Our French toast was so fresh and delicious and the coffee was amazing as well. All the staff was by to see if we wanted more coffee or water, they were wonderful. We will definitely be back again and this cafe gets 5 stars in our book! Run, don’t walk to this great little cafe! “We often pop by the shop to pick up breakfast sandwiches on our way to the office. Recently, we asked Tommy & Marie to help us provide light food options for our art studio's Grand Opening last week. They recommended their stuffed breads (stromboli). We ordered the Italian Combo stromboli, Broccoli Rabe and cheese stromboli, potato salad, and a roasted vegetable and penne salad. The food was a hit!! The breads were such a wonderful idea and EVERYONE asked where we ordered it from. Thanks Tommy’s Place & Market for working with us and helping to make our community debut a success!
