“The food was very good, the atmosphere was pleasant but there must have been a mix-up in the kitchen as one of our friends did not get their food until 10 minutes after everyone else received theirs.Vegetarian options: Some of us were vegetarians and some of us were gluten-free but there was sufficient to choose from.Dietary restrictions: Some of us were regular menu in some were vegetarian and some gluten-free eaters but there was sufficient to choose from for each of us of a party of five.”

“French fries were tasty, unusual shape, kind of like a steak fry. Burgers yummy, good size and made to order. the clam chowder soup was salty, thick texture with fresh clams. Service is friendly and attentive. They were a little slow with the dessert but they explained this was because they had to make fresh churro batter which was definitely worth the wait. The restaurant is a little loud but we liked the open kitchen concept and clean but basic setup.”

“My favorite Thai restaurant currently in the greater Hartford area. The food reminds me of my mom's cooking. I make the trip from Hartford To New Britain whenever I want a piece of home. This small quaint restaurant packs a punch and doesn't hold back on flavor. While some places water down the flavor to cater to a broader audience Mai (the owner) chefs it up as if she is in her home kitchen cooking for family. You taste the loving in her cooking. There is limited seating but when you get the chance order a few dishes with friends or family and share the meal Thai style. You can always order in advance and pick up or utilize a delivery service. You won't be disappointed. Ask for Mai (pronounced May) and tell her Ty sent you. She will make sure you're taken care of.”

“My son and I tried PolishPlate for the first time this evening. Let me tell you, this place is amazing. My son ordered the Smoked Salmon Potato Pancakes and I had the Stuffed cabbage (ground chicken with a mushroom gravy), Kielbasa, Pierogi and Beets. Everything was delicious! The staff was very friendly and polite. We will definitely be back and soon!”

“We had dinner here today and although there was a small mistake on their part, they continued to check on us, and the owner came out and apologized in person multiple times. Customer service was excellent and the food was also very delicious. We will 100% return again and they had the best food quality and customer service of any restaurant we have recently visited.”

Oh and their tzatziki sauce is out of this world! Best I’ve ever had.This place would be perfect if it had more of a restaurant vibe and less like a fast food set up. But definitely worth a try. “We had a group of 7 and opted for the table wide chefs 5 course tasting menu. It was excellent... A bit pricy at $85/head, but definitely uniquely flavorful and deliberately paired. An additional $50 or so gives you a wine pairing with each course as well. Definitely would try it again as the menu is ever changing and evolving with the seasons.”

“5/5 on taste and looks this was really good!!! Things that I think can improve would be adding drinks like a milk choice. I think having food products you need drinks. And also the forks are really cheap and when the cakes are cold the fork given bends. I think this can be changed and doesn't change that the taste is amazing”

“The first time we tried to go there, everything was sold out, so they closed early. The second time, I made sure to order ahead prior to pick up. The place was so cute with a sit in area that had your typical cafe vibes. I was surprised there were items left when I went to pick up my order the next morning (Friday) at 11 am. Everything in the showcase looked mouthwatering. I admittedly plan to try everything haha. They sell French and southern inspired pastries. The story of their family immigrating from Laos to the US was similar to my family from Cambodia. It's inspiring to see them become successful! The prices were high but the products were quality; I think it's worth it.I ordered an iced chai latte to go as well; this drink was good. I'm looking forward to trying their hand crafted lemonades next time. The showstoppers were the pastries. I ordered the cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissant, Southern sticky pecan buns, and egg in a hole.The egg in the hole was amazing. I was only planning to take a bite since I already ate my lunch. I couldn't stop and ended up finishing it. It has egg, cheese, chives, and chopped ham/bacon in a croissant. The sticky pecan bun was buttery and sweet; the candied pecans had a sugary crunch to it; the most amazing sticky bun I've ever tasted. My husband had the cinnamon bun and said 10/10. Pro tip: put in microwave for 5-10 seconds, even better. In conclusion, I will be back sooner rather than later!”
