“This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection.Their made in house soups, beet chic pea burgers, grain bowls, burgers, Plainville chicken sandwich, onion rings, fresh cut fries are all fantastic! The restaurant is always clean and the people are super friendly.”

“I wanted to try this place for quite a while, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The location is fantastic, far enough from the busy town area to feel relaxed and inviting. Great spot to enjoy a drink and some amazing food.

The beer selection and IPAs, were excellent. Thr staff took the time to explain the different options and offered thoughtful recommendations that matched our tastes perfectly. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. I’ll definitely be back!”

“This is the best sushi I've had in CT. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was really nice. The menu has great options for a good price. The service was amazing, and the owners were lovely. I couldn't finish everything so the owner packed it up with some extra wasabi, ginger, and chopsticks like we were getting takeout. We're already talking about going back with family.”

“I can't believe I'm just trying your food for the first time today.. everything is beyond delicious!! Grilled falafel platter, grilled veggies and chickpea salad, all fresh bright veggies, and ALL the flavors! “My friend and I had a great experience at Mykonos Express. The staff was helpful and personable. Food was ready fast yet delicious. Not a single complaint. Also the seating area was nice and clean so we could enjoy the food in a casual setting.”

“We've always go here for dinner. What sets this place aside from most restaurants is the great service from the owners and staff. They always greet you with a smile 😃 and make you feel right at home 🏡. We always sit at one of the large comfy booths and enjoy a great meal. They DO serve breakfast all day, and aside from the many tempting entrees on their regular menu, they also have a special Mexican menu! Visit once, and you'll want to come back soon!
Oh, and they also have very inviting patio dining for comfortable summer evenings! 🌺🪴🥀”

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! Thank you again to the owners and to our waitress who went above and beyond for making our day so perfect! We can’t wait to come back! Kim Landeen”

“I had the grilled chicken burrito and it was amazing. The mango margaritas was good, the atmosphere and service was great. Expectations should be high, as this restaurant is owned by the name owner that introduced Mexican food to CT with his first establishment in Middlebury CT. It’s only be opened in Plainville CT for a few months, word of mouth will get around and this will be Planiville’s hidden gem.”

“I had a great experience at Lotus Garden Chinese. The owner was incredibly friendly and made the whole visit feel welcoming. I ordered the chicken and broccoli along with a spare rib combo, and everything was excellent. The food had great flavor without being overly salty, which is hard to find sometimes. The meat was tender, perfectly cooked, and clearly fresh. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food and customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again!”

“I recently visited Subway in Plainville, and overall it was a good experience. The food was fresh and tasted great, and my order was made just the way I wanted.

Before I ordered, there was a situation where another customer was arguing with one of the employees, which made things a bit uncomfortable. However, the staff handled it professionally and continued serving customers as best as they could.

Despite that moment, my visit was positive. The service was efficient, and the sandwich quality was good. I would still come back again.”

“Nice people, but the pizza was mediocre at best. The issue with the pizza was it was doughy.
We also had a ham grinder, French fries, and a creamy chicken rice soup - all of which was good.
If I were just rating the pizza, I would say three stars is probably generous, but to be fair, everything else was good, so I believe 4 stars is fair.
The menu here is pretty big. They not only have a kids menu, but a seniors menu too…
This place has been here for as long as I can remember and is a Plainville staple.
I think if we try this place again, I will have to try a steak sandwich. They appear to have a lot of steak sandwich options, so I suspect that they are good.”

“I moved to the area about 3 years ago ave I have yet to find a good Chinese spot, I tried chengs kitchen in downtown New Britain, and never went back because it was that bad, my son came home with general Tso’s yesterday and he let me try a bite, it was so good, we ordered again for dinner tonight, The crab Rangoon were really good and decent sized, and we both got general tso’s dinners, everything was hot and tasted fresh, Definitely will be coming back, thank you for a great first experience 😊”

“Just go, the cookies the pastries the coffee the cannolis are all fantastic. They don't take credit cards for anything under $10 so either bring cash or spend over $10. You will not be disappointed.”

“I just wanted to leave a review because the hostess Olivia, who helped us truly made our experience start off on the right foot. We were a party of five and came in during a busy time, but she greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel welcomed immediately. She kept us updated on our wait time, answered all of our questions, and handled everything so calmly and professionally even while helping other guests.

What stood out the most was how attentive she was. She made sure our table was clean and ready before seating us, checked that we had everything we needed to get started, and treated every guest with kindness and respect. You can tell she takes pride in her job and genuinely cares about providing great customer service.

It's not often you remember the hostess after leaving a restaurant, but she made such a positive first impression that I felt she deserved recognition. Employees like her are a huge asset to the restaurant. Thank you for making our visit such a pleasant experience”
