No gossiping like Panera or fooling around like chipotle. Kudos to the manager for keeping it down because I know they always rotate employees and keep the atmosphere clean and fresh. “*update: Bar Experience. The bar was very well equipped, the bartender ( Alex) was very attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. Carlos made sure everyone was tended and had what they needed. Great teamwork behind the bar. The food Experience at the bar matched that of the dining room experience. The bar and restaurant was busy but Alex, Carlos and all of the staff hustled and the food was hot, tasted wonderful and of course left me wanting desert. If you have not visited this establishment, you are missing out. Everything from their service, their extensive drink menu, their delicious "tapas", their creative specials, their daily menu to their tray of deserts is an experience. Come on by, I promise you will not be disappointed. Check out the updated Bar Experience pictures. A hidden Gem in downtown Southington. This is our second visit here and we are absolutely in love with this restaurant. From its eclectic decor, super attentive staff to its fabulously fantastic tasting tapas and entrees....where do I truly begin. The owners ( Rob, is always stopping by to say hello and check in) are visible and make you feel welcomed, my waitress Alyssa was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious. The pictures below do no justice to the flavors that pop as you are eating them. You can't wait to come back. Oh I almost forgot....the drinks....the best Sangrias!!!! Yes! Sangrias...Sangrias!! You must stop by.”

I also absolutely loved the fact that this is a small business and Tina and Evan are super wonderful humans and so easy to work with. “Our party of 5 had never tried Mission BBQ before. We found a table and were immediately greeted and asked if this was our first time in. She introduced herself and showed us the menu and how to order and gave us ample time to decide. Once we ordered our food it was out within minutes. The catering manager came over to the table, thanked us for coming in and gave us coupons for our next visit. We enjoyed our fantastic dinner and before we left she then brought back a complimentary dessert. We’re from Maine, and have never had such kind, and courteous service that made us feel like family. Overall an outstanding experience and if we ever find ourselves back in the area will most definitely be back. Please open a store in Maine. You won’t regret it!”

Their food is great, they have a full bar for your non-beer drinking friends, and plenty and space and TVs. You can’t go wrong with this spot or the excellent quality beer.

The atmosphere truly feels like home. The bartenders Robin, Hope, Crystal, and Andy are all amazing and attentive. They’re friendly, welcoming, and always make sure you’re taken care of. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and it shows in the service.

Robin has done a fantastic job owning and running this place. She’s built an incredible team and created such a great environment. The food and drink menu is awesome with plenty of options, and everything I’ve tried has been great.

Over time, what started as great service turned into genuine friendships with the staff and Robin. That kind of connection is rare, and it’s what truly sets this place apart. We said we would come in this week snd try out the new restaurant. We had told Hector the we loved clams casino and he remembered and even though they were not on the menu he brought some to us from Flair. They were excellent. We also had the best chicken dish ever which was called chicken fratellis. It was very obvious that Hector and his family bent over backwards to ensure our experience was amazing and.......it was. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a fabulous meal and feel that you are appreciated. Thank again”

“I recently hosted my son’s 1st birthday party of over 100 guests at Hawks Landing. Jeff & Paul were absolutely amazing to work with. I work with a lot of different venues all over Connecticut with my event planning business and this place is truly next level. The attention to detail and the way the entire staff works together to really give you everything you envision is hard to come by. Paul and I designed the entire event menu from scratch. Anything I asked for, he made happen! My biggest concern was that I didn’t want guests waiting too long for food but I also didn’t want a sit down meal. Paul suggested we do multiple food stations around the space so nobody was waiting. He also had his staff start with passed appetizers while everyone was mingling. It worked out PERFECTLY. My theme was “Jack’s 1st rodeo.” Paul even offered to request that his staff wear jeans and a flannel shirt to match my vibe. Every single member of the Hawks team had such a hand in perfecting the day. My guests are still raving about the food and experience more than a month later. They really made the day so special and I couldn’t be more grateful to Jeff, Paul and the entire Hawks team! ♥️”

They smelled the salad and agreed with me something unfortunately went bad in the salad. They exchanged it out for something different and I went about my day. 10/10 recommend. They have awesome customer service and they were super apologetic!”

I was in the hospital for five days and got out right before Christmas and was not capable of making any kind of Christmas meal even either help.On Christmas Eve, the staff pulled together several meals for the family to eat! They did it last minute with no warning and provided amazing food! Their kindness and compassion is beyond amazing, not to mention how incredibly good the food is!!! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!”

The young waitress forgot to put in for 1 pancake as partner requested a little late but she completely forgot altogether & then told us it was almost done, should have admitted dde forgot to put in for it! Then she never came back to get us a 2nd cup of coffee. Busy at times but it only takes 10 seconds to pour coffee & the mugs are extremely small! Seems she catered to larger tables (bigger tips)! Way too expensive for the poor service. Prices on menu online are not updated”

“Just had our first meal here. The entire restaurant is filthy. Our dishes that held our silverware were reused. Our table was dirty To where we washed it with our drinking water. We were ready to leave but had put in our order and wanted to try food. The food Was decent but pricey for amount you got. Called manager over to show him how thick the dust was on ledge where everyone sits And eats. He said he was new. Not an excuse. Restaurant was empty now I know why. The whole place smells dirty as soon as you sit down and have to breathe in one spot. This restaurant will not last if things don't Change. It will be a repeat of Chips restaurant all over again.”
