“The food was delicious. We got the lemon ricotta pancakes and the corn beef hash. The coffees were great and had a thoughtful touch. Our server was attentive and friendly. They had live music which was a pleasant surprise. We can’t wait to return!“
“The store today was short staffed and the wait was lengthy. I didn't mind the wait though because they did all they could to try and satisfy every customer and get the orders out without jeopardizing quality. Joy , who I am assuming was the manager, was all over the place holding it all together and helping with everything!!! kudos to her and the few staff members she had . Joy is a very valuable asset to that store and deserves recognition for it.“

The macaroni salad is to die for— I could eat that by the bucketful!The owner, Jenna, is a delight. I watched her fastidiously arrange fresh cut flowers today. “Meii Tea has the best bubble tea in Springfield. I have had the hokkaido and jasmine green milk teas and both were great. The owners are incredibly nice as well. They let me sample one of their cakes and a creme puff and both were delicious. I would recommend the bubble tea and desserts here to anyone to try.“
“The Eatery did not disappoint! We were on our way back to MA and ordered breakfast sandwiches (B.E.C) and coffee to go. The coffee and sandwich were both amazing. Half of their sandwich was plenty of food and filling, but it was so good you had to eat the other half. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to go back on our next trip to Connecticut.“

It had an old school convenience store vibe to it with really nice owners. However, the kitchen area was a little disorganized/messy and they were eating their lunch in the food prep area.“

Much to my surprise there aren't many places that make this type of dessert. However, Amy reached out to me and ultimately made the most delicious cake ever! A six-course meal that ranged from gnocchi over a spinach-artichoke purée to Wagyu beef sliders over sweet potatoes with a bleu cheese "fondue," this was an epic meal. “I've been coming to AJ's for over 20 years. literally every time I have friends from out of town visit me and want to have a drink and some good bar food we go to AJ's. every single one of my out-of-town friends always says this is the best bar food they've ever had in their life. I literally have friends who call me up to come to Meriden just to have food from AJ's. my kids are addicted to the food at AJ's as well . I can honestly say if I ever move out of Connecticut, AJ's is one of the very few restaurants that I would ever truly miss and want to stop by if I come back to Connecticut for a visit. Thanks for hanging in and being so committed to our city. with the type of food and friendliness that AJ's gives they could have been successful any place in Connecticut.“
“The only thing here is that they denied me a drink one time i walked in and i still had 10 mins before last call and the perseon saod we dont just serve anyone off the street at this time... I was so upset. I will never forget that. The owner must think he is better than the people who keep him in business if thats the way he treats us. Its us that keep him in business he should remind his bartenders that as well. Food is great but always wOut of wings..... Come on thats the go to food for the bar. But besides that the bartenders are nice and the bar is clean cheaper than Ledgends and some other bars.“
“This was my favorite study spot in college, now I come here to read before my appointments in Waterbury. I love their specialty drinks, I usually pick a drink from their seasonal favorites when I'm here. They also have a really good chicken sandwich that I'll get if I'm here around lunch time. Staff is always so nice and quick. I feel comfortable hanging out here. The only issue was I noticed a lot of their seating has the pleather torn apart so badly you can't sit on it comfortably. The benefit of this place was their comfy chairs, so hopefully they get those replaced soon!“

“This was hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. My special guy's father is friend's with the owner & we brought family visiting from Italy for dinner. This was my first time trying the food, everything was delicious, portions huge. You can order larger, family style meals several days in advance & it's BYOB (love it). I was very surprised by everything as the outside along with the name of the restaurant doesn't remotely sound like an Italian restaurant. I would definitely take the ride just to eat here again.“
