“First time to nataz restaurant in southington. It's a fixed price for course dinner. You have your choice of many entrees. We had Delmonico steak, lam b chops, and poached lobster. The food was fantastic. Our server Ashlyn really made the experience wonderful. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.”
“Hands down a great spot to eat breakfast. We came from Norwalk and were passing through and it was worth the stop. The food was amazing and hit the spot and our server was such a sweet person and took great care of us. We had two kids with us under 5 and they were very nice and gave us crayons. They have an awesome wall while you wait to draw on with chalk. Definitely will be going back.Kid-friendliness: Very open to kids there.”
“This location is easy to get to and located near several other restaurants. If you like great landscaping with relatively easy golf holes, this is your place. They've put a lot of money into wood structures, waterways, and maintaining the gardens. There's even a section with herbs! Many times, you can see actual frogs in the pond (not just the nearby statue). They gave a section for kids afterwards where you can play on a wooden train or pirate ship. There's a gazebo with a round table inside it. There's at least a half dozen picnicking tables up on a knoll. On site food is 3 choices: beer (sometimes with pizza) for the adults, an ice cream section, and a grille. At the grille, seating was nice, prices were low, and wind attempted to blow away our napkins. We came here midday on a September Saturday and the crowds were steady but not overwhelming. Since it was the end of the season, there are a few minor repairs needed. Worn out wood borders were the most common interference (twice). One other downfall is that the mini golf ($9/adult on weekends and weekday evenings) is cash only. Food takes credit. Not sure why they'd rather have you use an onsite ATM than just pay for all by credit in one spot.”
“We had a wonderful time enjoying two birthdays at this restaurant. I wish the paella had more flavor and that my husband’s steak was medium rare as he requested instead of the medium he got. But other than that, everything was great! We got water and drinks replenished as needed, and special desserts for the birthday people. The prices were very reasonable for what we got. We’ll return to try more stuff on the menu, for sure!”
“We picked this place randomly because it was halfway between us and our friends. Holy moly, what a find! Service was attentive and so friendly (Carter, you were great), and the food was delicious. Best sweet potato fries my husband had ever had, perfect nachos, and delicious dessert. My only complaint is that it's too far from us to make it our regular spot.”
“The food was delicious, the cocktails were really good.Essentially it starts with the fact that everything looks good, and the food just melts in your mouth. We'd especially recommend their specialty salmon, bay scallops and filet mignon.”
“The food is worth it! Eclectic atmosphere as the tables are shared with several other businesses and anyone just passing through. Service is mostly good. The menu changes from week to week. It’s the best place that experiments with and explores new vegetable dishes. Great place for a tater tot fix too.”
“I was in the mood for an authentic breakfast sandwich and tried Carousel Coffee Shop and it delivered!! The sandwich was delicious!! Toasted hard roll, choice of cheese (I chose swiss), 2 eggs (over medium) and 4 sausage links!! The service was outstanding!! More than one server took care of me, friendly, quick, offered to warm up my tea, brought check without asking. Goo old fashioned customer service with a smile!! Highly recommend!!”
“I recently got married on October 6 and I couldn’t be happier with the whole program. Pete was fabulous and his staff everybody was right on point and all my guests were so impressed with the set up the food the service the ambience everything was perfect. I have to give them a 10 out of 10 they hit it out of the park. It was absolutely fantastic. I just want to thank them for making our special day. Perfect.”
“This is a solid pizza place! Just a good classic good tasting pizza. Crust is thinner than most places in this general vicinity. I would have honestly given the overall taste and quality a 3 star review, but what puts the cherry on top at Townline Pizza is the price. I got 3 large pizzas with toppings. And it came out to $56!!! That’s an amazing price! I come from New Haven CT where a large cheese pizza is like $26 alone. So when I saw that price I was SUPER HAPPY. keep up the good work.”
“We found this place through an online search (we were visiting the goats at Bradley Mountain Farm in Southington) and are really glad we went to Saint's for lunch! This place seems to be a local institution, the kind of place you'd see on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives." Our chili dogs were amazing and the onion rings were soooo delicious! And the price can't be beat -- $21.00 for 2 chili dogs, a large onion rings and 2 beverages. Wow! I highly recommend this place!”
“This place was all I expected AND more!! Shout out to Wendi (with an I) and Dee! You guys rock almost as much as the wings. Between the three of us we tried 8 different flavors!! Oh my.....big and juicy. All the flavors we tried were great. And the Bloody Maria's are great in their own rite. I will be back sooner rather than later ❤️”
“Was there on a Monday night. Not crowded. Server came right over with water and saw my wife had the gluten-free menu. She explained they can make just about anything gluten-free and that they have separate area . Food and drinks were good. Service was excellent.Dietary restrictions: They are very serious about taking care of people who have restrictions. They will work hard to meet your needs. Definitely a place to try.”
“I went with a party of four on a weeknight, and the whole table agreed that the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Prices were in the $26 to $32 range for entrees, which by today's standards, are pretty reasonable, especially when compared with all the mediocre restaurants in the same price range that serve up mediocrity at best. The noise level was pretty tame, especially considering that every seat in the bar was taken. And from what I could tell, all the bar patrons were eating, not just drinking. I'm pretty tired of bar crowds taking over what used to be good restaurants, and turning them into rowdy saloons. New Mill was a high quality experience.”
