“The water damage in our conference room came from a pipe in the ceiling that had been slow-leaking over a weekend. Monday morning we came in to wet ceiling tiles and standing water on the floor. They were there within 2 hours of my call, extracted everything, and had drying equipment in place before our first afternoon meeting. The room was back in use by midweek.“

“We had an amazing wedding shower today at Sans Souci! From the beginning of the planning process through the event today, the staff has been phenomenal. The owner was great to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed to make our event successful. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. Our guests really enjoyed the mimosa bar. Our plated meals were served hot and tasted delicious. If you’re looking for a space to host a private event, I can’t recommend Sans Souci highly enough. “Came in last minute this past Saturday with a party of 9 (4 adults and 5 children under 11) as grandson had a baseball game nearby. Was my first time. Food choices were very good and kids menu also had lots of offerings and their meals also included ice cream. I can’t say enough about our waiter, Matt. He was just the perfect server for our party, as he had children himself and totally understood how challenging it could be eating out with kids. He put the kids orders in right away. He knew just want to stop by and check on us. He is an asset to your restaurant and you’re very lucky to have him. We will definitely be back. Was a very positive experience.“

“My family and I went here for my son’s 8th birthday and the food and service was incredible. The atmosphere gives cozy and welcoming. The customer service is worth every dollar I spent.“

“Good service with very attentive waitresses. Food is delicious and cooked perfectly. They do have size options for the pancakes so if you are not into giant pancakes you can downsize. Atmosphere is comfortable but not overwhelming. The price is a nice plus to coming here, even though they only accept cash, but that keeps their prices down.“

“We had my daughter’s baby shower at Lola’s. From the start of booking until the day of the shower. So easy to work with. The day of the shower, we were greeted with such warmth and truly our waitress for our party, Becky, was fantastic. Catered to our every need and was so beyond helpful. She worked very hard and was so pleasant! The food was amazing and plenty of it! Guests went back for seconds! Becky even went above and beyond for my mom who couldn’t eat something and prepared a new one just for her. Truly a gem of a place! “I just went to Country Kitchen and bought 2 chili cheese hot dogs for my co-worker and myself, it was "hot dog" day after all :-) Our office staff has gone there many times and loves the food. The mom and her son, Dave are so sweet! Nice to see a family business. Not only do you get GREAT food, but great service with a smile! A group of 4 of us were traveling through the area and needed a good place for Dinner …We called and made a reservation , the owner Al was very personable on the phone .We arrived for dinner and he had our name on table , and he introduced himself …We had a couple of beers while he explained the menu to us ….we Decided on a couple of appetizers and also a small pizza to sample before ordering our dinner . The appetizers arrived and were very good, but the star of the show was definitely the pizza , so much flavor … the crust was to die for light and airy and so much crunch in the crust !!!! Next was the Dinner - Chicken Francaise , Chicken Parm , Chicken Marsala , Fettuccini Carbonaro .All meals arrived hot and were Delicious …We also got to meets Al’s Daughter who was very personable just like her Father ….We wished we had this Restaurant in our community . “Since a lot of these reviews appear to be old, clarifying 2 things: there are two locations (norfolk & hartford) run by Good Works Entertainment. The Hartford location used to have a bistro but does not any longer - they have chips and candy. The highly regarded Bears smoke house is across the street as is the convention center and hotel (that ay have a special rate if you ask). hartford location has nearby street and paid parking unaffiliated with the venue. Both feature a range of arttists so check one or both out with friends and family.“

“13 of us went there to celebrate my mom's 85th and we're lucky and got the upstairs. We had Samantha as our server who went way above what was expected. We had the very reasonable priced buffett..the food was good, the chef was on hand and very friendly. Drinks very reasonably priced. This was our 3rd family celebration there and an plan to use them for more.“
