“Just moved to Wallingford and wanted to find a local bar nearby. Didn't realize Wallingford bars close at 11 on Sundays so someone told us about this place! My bf and I loved it!! “I just wanted to leave a review because the hostess Olivia, who helped us truly made our experience start off on the right foot. We were a party of five and came in during a busy time, but she greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel welcomed immediately. She kept us updated on our wait time, answered all of our questions, and handled everything so calmly and professionally even while helping other guests.

What stood out the most was how attentive she was. She made sure our table was clean and ready before seating us, checked that we had everything we needed to get started, and treated every guest with kindness and respect. You can tell she takes pride in her job and genuinely cares about providing great customer service.

It's not often you remember the hostess after leaving a restaurant, but she made such a positive first impression that I felt she deserved recognition. Employees like her are a huge asset to the restaurant. Thank you for making our visit such a pleasant experience“

“I don’t usually do reviews but I had to do one today after my experience here, my server Kylee was absolutely amazing with everything especially with showing me how the games and axe throwing works, the bartenders made some of the absolutely best drinks I’ve ever had plus the food was absolutely phenomenal, I will definitely be back next time with more family and friends“

“It’s a cheap local dive lives up to what you would need from a watering hole. Inexpensive drinks, not pretentious, mainly plastic cups, good people. First time, walked in and had a small chat with a patron before the night was done. Plus, unlike some other aptly named Irish pubs, they do have Guinness *cough obrians*. Decent draft list too for a small local. Didn’t play, but seems like a good setup for darts too. I might not take a date or the wife for low key dinner and drinks, but after work or a friend for a cheap blow off steam evening? Absolutely.“

“I am from England but have used this bar the 3 times iv been hear now since last January very good atmosphere the food is really good and reasonably cheap and very tasty and the drink is reasonably priced aswell love this place.

“I've been going to Romas for years. The drinks are on point and Adam is great. Unfortunately I can't remember the female servers name but she pretty cool as well. We sat outside and it was.relaxing, other than the occasional loud car music passing by it's a great spot to unwind after a stressful day at work. I gave three stars for the food because this particular day my wings were overly salty. The calamari was ok and the pizza crust was a little to burnt. I counted this as just an off day because I'm usually content with the food. My job hold our Christmas party here every year and they do an awesome job with the food and the service. I'm sure you will enjoy if you go and if something is not up to your standards, send it back, they are very accommodating.“

“The Elbow Room is an awesome venue, the food and drinks they have are great and reasonably priced, I'm a big fan of their wings and tacos. I go to the open mic comedy nights on Thursdays, and I throw fun comedy shows/parties in the basement around once a month on Fridays with about 50 people, and everyone always hangs out on the rooftop after now that the weather is warmer. The Elbow Room is a staple of West Hartford and almost everyone knows about it.“
