“We met another couple here for dinner last night. It was very busy when we were here (St Patrick’s Day).There were two women working behind the bar. Actually, one working hard and the other one seemed to just there in attendance. It was way too busy for just one person to handle solo…The food was good and reasonably priced. They had a lot of good options. Beers were expensive, considering it was draft beer.Overall, our time spent here was good.I can see myself coming back here again and trying some of the other menu items…“

“My friend suggested we go to Double Play Café last night after a concert at the Oakdale Theatre. There was a large crowd for a late on a Saturday night, and we sat at a high top table. We were cold from standing outside for a while at the concert and decided to have some hot drinks. I had a coffee. It was delicious. We then ordered some food. I had the avocado, mozzarella, caprice he salad. I enjoyed it very much. It was fresh and had a very nice balsamic glaze on top. I will definitely go back and try some other items on the menu.“
“Family style bar and restaurant. I've had a thick juicy cheeseburger and the fish and chips. Both dishes were nice large portions of flavorful and fresh tasting and well seasoned food. The place is friendly and well appointed. Prices are reasonable and service is great. The patrons are having fun socializing with each other. There are even families, but no young children. They are a mix of young and old. People are dressed in casual work clothes.“

“We rented two cornhole lanes for 2 hours for our son's 21st birthday. Cost was reasonable. We preordered food from Square Peg Pizzeria. Upon arrival, we knew where to go-our table was labeled. Food was delivered on time. When our party arrived and ate, the time flew. Everyone had a fun time and enjoyed the arcade, pool table and cornhole. Two hours was NOT enough! Thank You!!“
“The Buffalo Mac and cheese was amazing! My hubby got a Mac and cheese burger which he said was also amazing. The place was not too crowded and the food came out reasonably quick. The barista was very nice and gave great service. The chicken quesadillas were also so good and were served with sour cream and salsa.“
“I wish I could explain how wonderful this food is but I just can't. I've been in my truck, 1000 miles from home just wanting a GOOD meal. A truck driver friend recommended this place and I did not get a good meal, I got a GREAT meal. Perfectly crispy fried Pickles, perfectly crispy and sauced chicken wings, perfectly chopped side salad, perfectly seasoned Poutine Tots, perfectly mixed homemade ranch. Perfectly friendly service and perfectly clean environment. This place absolutely not disappoint. I promise I will go out of my way to come back.“
“My girl and I went on a pub crawl in Bristol, and this place drew me in like a bear to honey. We immediately took note of the warm, dive bar atmosphere, with cool tunes playing, sports on the screens, and what appeared to be happy regulars doing their thing. The service was quick and very friendly, and I just had to try the Sea Hag on tap (I'm not a big IPA guy, but it was excellent). The nachos were unpretentious, like something a kid might make at home, but you know what? They were damn tasty and perfectly fit the vibe of the place. A big cheers to the staff for making us feel welcome. This is a great bar.“
“Came here a few times and food was great! The service the other times were about a 6/10 but it was busier. Today we came for brunch and we received exceptional service! Taisha was a friendly and a super attentive bartender. We loved her! Wilson the cook was dope as well! I like my wings abnormally well done and the cook came out to ask me how I wanted them. He was so nice! The music is a vibe too! I loved the staff, they made our experience a 10/10!!! Ps- blue cheese dressing is fire as is the Rasta pasta- everything fresh and homemade! Unlimited mimosas for $20 and Tasha kept them coming! 10/10 for today ?“
“Nice little towny bar. Cash only but they do have an ATM in case you find yourself without cash. They have a couple pool tables in a separate room than the bar which is always nice and roomy. Service is perfect. Bartender is very observant and knows exactly when you need another drink. Drinks are made perfectly too“
“The only thing here is that they denied me a drink one time i walked in and i still had 10 mins before last call and the perseon saod we dont just serve anyone off the street at this time... I was so upset. I will never forget that. The owner must think he is better than the people who keep him in business if thats the way he treats us. Its us that keep him in business he should remind his bartenders that as well. Food is great but always wOut of wings..... Come on thats the go to food for the bar. But besides that the bartenders are nice and the bar is clean cheaper than Ledgends and some other bars.“
“Would have been great if it weren't for the Anti-military atmosphere. Only "young and dumb" join the military. This wasn't from the service but the patrons, but still of all days, 9/11 shouldn't be one of those days. I really hope this isn't the local me tality here.“
“One of the best bars in Southington. The wings are locally famous and award-winning, and for good reason! Service is good, the menu has plenty of options, and there's always some form of music, either live bands or karaoke. And if the place is full, order your meal to-go and take it to the brewery across the street.“
