“I met these cookies at the Plainville Balloon Festival. The experience from start to finish was comforting, fun, safe, and delicious! I have been gluten free and dairy free for over 10yrs and LOVE finding small businesses that hold space for that! Simple ingredients for a healthier treat that tastes better than most of the chemical crap out there. To spice up my review, my sister went into labor one night and ended up needing a C-section. I was bringing dinner to the hospital at a late hour. Being a HUGE dessert family, I called every bakery around to find a dairy free gluten free dessert bc I did not have time to make any and knew my sister would love a treat but was having no luck. I remembered Scoops gave them a ring and no answer. I decided to call again bc my number is out of state lol and prayed to God they answered. They did! They were just finishing up an event in Hartford. I explained the situation to them and they hand delivered a box of cookies to the hospital in Bristol for me with a huge smile on. It made me feel so good to know that they took joy in the delivery. What an amazing deed that made an entire family so happy. Eating healthy cookies while taking turns holding the new baby! Super grateful, would definitely recommend!!! Love y’all!“

“My experience was difficult but very successful I ordered a 55$ dollar cake for a birthday party 5 days prior. I was charged then and asked for the description I call the day the before the party and they tell me they don’t have no transaction for it or no sticker for it but I was already charged, the lady was very polite let me know they won’t be able to do anything until after the party , I was hurt and very angry , and hung up the phone to go to the bakery before I got there they called saying it was a mistake on their end and they ended up making my cake , I feel like there should a better system to keep track for orders but amazing customer support and service , glad they handled it before the event and it truly came out beautifully, thank you so much for your hard work and I’m sorry for getting in your hair ❤“

“WOW!!!! I lived in France for 8 years and have traveled through much of Europe……Bounom is hands down the VERY BEST bakery that I have ever been to!!!! My mother and I are fairly accomplished cooks and bakers so are very aware of quality……..we do not eat grocery store pastries….they may be convenient and less expensive but are very poor quality……Kamla makes everything by hand with top quality ingredients the morning that they are sold…..basically, you get what you pay for!!!!!! Top quality ingredients are expensive! You can order online the day before to make sure that you are able to get what you want, they often sell out early. If you want discount store prices, then go to the discount store……Bounom products are EXCEPTIONAL and very much worth the price!!!!! In addition the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!!!! My NUMBER ONE RECOMMENDATION for a bakery !!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their wonderful goodies!!! I would give them 10 stars if I were able!!!“

“I went to Waterbury, CT to try Brooklyn Baking Company for the first time. They have some delicious glazed donuts and cornbread! I am looking forward to try their other desserts.“

“I was having a party for my son and a guest was gluten and dairy free and wanted her to have something special too! I had seen this bakery on Facebook and live 5 mins away so it seemed a perfect opportunity to try. I purchased a chocolate zuchinni cake for the little girl and while there I grabbed an Oreo tres leche cake for myself. LET ME TELL YOUUUUUUU!!! That Oreo cake was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I am in a lot of pain and had lost my appetite (and 10 dollars from what I spent on the food) and couldn't eat. It went into the trash. Seriously disappointed.

Crumbl Cookies is excellent! The cookies are always fresh, soft, and full of flavor. I love how they have different flavors every week, and every cookie I’ve tried has been amazing. “I’m visiting Hartford after almost 20 years. This place is the first I wanted to see. The best croissants in this hemisphere are here. The place hasn’t changed it’s still as quaint and wonderful as always. The croissants are a piece of heaven.“

“With the move just down the street, Beanz and Co & The NE pasta co transformed itself to another level. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. In addition to the main dining area, There are three separate seating areas: a room with comfy seats for a small group of talkers, a back room for a quieter setting and a third room perfect for a work meeting or small group of friends or couples.

I love the inclusion of staff with challenges, otherwise may not have this positive opportunity. 💜

The catering is great; I’ve taken home a number of delicious family meals.

“Cookie selection is always great. The shop is clean and inviting but the staff are not. I have been multiple times and with different staff, all the same. They are not smiling or friendly as I would expect from this place. I have been to other locations and they are very different.“

“Just started coming here not too long ago and have not been disappointed! The bagels are delicious and always fresh. We call ahead and have our order ready within 10 minutes. The donuts are delicious, my favorite right now being the Oreo one. The staff is very friendly, we were attended to by a lady who was very friendly and courteous. With 2 coffees, 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwich bagels, and 3 donuts… the total cost was about $32. She even threw in an extra donut 🩷. All staff members have been very friendly and kind. Definitely recommend this place.“
