“I met these cookies at the Plainville Balloon Festival. The experience from start to finish was comforting, fun, safe, and delicious! I have been gluten free and dairy free for over 10yrs and LOVE finding small businesses that hold space for that! Simple ingredients for a healthier treat that tastes better than most of the chemical crap out there. To spice up my review, my sister went into labor one night and ended up needing a C-section. I was bringing dinner to the hospital at a late hour. Being a HUGE dessert family, I called every bakery around to find a dairy free gluten free dessert bc I did not have time to make any and knew my sister would love a treat but was having no luck. I remembered Scoops gave them a ring and no answer. I decided to call again bc my number is out of state lol and prayed to God they answered. They did! They were just finishing up an event in Hartford. I explained the situation to them and they hand delivered a box of cookies to the hospital in Bristol for me with a huge smile on. It made me feel so good to know that they took joy in the delivery. What an amazing deed that made an entire family so happy. Eating healthy cookies while taking turns holding the new baby! Super grateful, would definitely recommend!!! Love y’all!“

“WOW!!!! I lived in France for 8 years and have traveled through much of Europe……Bounom is hands down the VERY BEST bakery that I have ever been to!!!! My mother and I are fairly accomplished cooks and bakers so are very aware of quality……..we do not eat grocery store pastries….they may be convenient and less expensive but are very poor quality……Kamla makes everything by hand with top quality ingredients the morning that they are sold…..basically, you get what you pay for!!!!!! Top quality ingredients are expensive! You can order online the day before to make sure that you are able to get what you want, they often sell out early. If you want discount store prices, then go to the discount store……Bounom products are EXCEPTIONAL and very much worth the price!!!!! In addition the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!!!! My NUMBER ONE RECOMMENDATION for a bakery !!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their wonderful goodies!!! I would give them 10 stars if I were able!!!“

I had seen this bakery on Facebook and live 5 mins away so it seemed a perfect opportunity to try. I purchased a chocolate zuchinni cake for the little girl and while there I grabbed an Oreo tres leche cake for myself. LET ME TELL YOUUUUUUU!!! That Oreo cake was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I'm a big critic when it comes to Red Velvet because it's my favorite cake, this one was amazing from the soft cake to the cream cheese frosting that was light and melted in my mouth 🤤 with each bite. NOW the Chocolate Caramel Delux. “With the move just down the street, Beanz and Co & The NE pasta co transformed itself to another level. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. In addition to the main dining area, There are three separate seating areas: a room with comfy seats for a small group of talkers, a back room for a quieter setting and a third room perfect for a work meeting or small group of friends or couples.

I love the inclusion of staff with challenges, otherwise may not have this positive opportunity. 💜

“First time here and overall, we had a great experience! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t very busy, which was nice.

It took us a few minutes to figure out how everything worked because no one came out to explain the process. There were several workers behind the counter, so I’d definitely recommend checking on first-time customers to see if they need help.

My son loved the cream-filled donut, and the fruit tart I had was AMAZING! 🍓🥧 It may honestly be the best fruit tart I’ve ever had and it’s my favorite dessert! ❤️

We tried a few other items labeled as popular, but those weren’t really our favorites. Overall, though, we’ll definitely be back for that fruit tart, other desserts and to try their drinks next time!
