It was a joy to work with Ana and she made sure that the cake was exactly what we wanted - it looked like something out of a fairytale. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the cake was! The cake was perfectly moist and had delicate layers of flavor throughout, and the frosting was melt-in-your mouth delicious without being too sugary or sweet. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a beautiful, unique, and custom wedding cake that also tastes amazing.“

“Went here this morning for the first time after seeing good reviews. After letting the woman working there know that we had never been there, she took the time to show us everything they had to offer and explain what they all were. We got chocolate cake and brigadieros. The cake was RICH, but it was so so good. And the brigadieros were DANGEROUSLY good. I will have to keep myself from going back and getting more immediately. There is very little parking, so you may have to walk a little bit to get there, but it is so worth it.

Parking: Street parking, its limited, but the place isn’t too busy so you should be able to find a spot!“

“Elizabeth's Bakery now has some GF items. Today I tried their GF blueberry muffin & brownie. The muffin is amazing! It didn't taste GF at all. Lots of blueberries, not overly sweet like some GF baked goods; great texture -not gummy at all; and a wonderfully big muffin like it's gluten containing counterpart. The brownie is soooo fudge! It is not gummy at all. Tastes just like a gluten containing brownie (well at least what I remember them tasting like). These are so much better than any GF brownie mix & better than any recipe I have made at home. It's been years since I have been able to purchase a great tasting GF item at a bakery. Thanks Elizabeth's Bakery for including a few GF items on your menu.“

“I have family in waterbury that we try and visit monthly and this is the first place we stop at each time and believe it or not it is just for the loaves of bread and my brother in law drives all the way from NH to grab just bread for certain occasions.... Amazing place. BTW the desserts are amazing breakfast sandwiches are huge and filling and of course Delicious! I co-opened a bakery called Neighborhoods cafe in Fenway in 2012, and I did all the baking.I can say with confidence that this place has some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted: ever.I got six different ones, cut them in half, and tried a few bites of each.First off: I was BLOWN AWAY by the mint. I don’t think people realize how challenging it is to get that mint-cookie flavor, and both the vegan and the traditional cupcakes here nailed it!All cupcakes had a fun surprise filling in the middle (I love when bakers do that), and the cookie dough icing had texture AND TASTE (how, I may never know) of a light cookie dough!I think the cannoli topped one was my favorite but I all were beyond my expectation.No, they don’t have a million options, that’s because they do a few things exceedingly well. Bravo!!!6 stars!!!!This bakery is located in a massive brick building shared by other stores. It was hard to find the handicap entrance but there is one on the side!!!“

They have bluberry muffins (and other kinds too but we get bluberry only) that are double the size of anyone else anywhere and they are loaded with blueberries and they are like half the price of anywhere else. They have great baguette bread. They now make what they call frenchcountry loaf which to us more closely resembles Italian style crusty bread which we love. For birthdays and special occasions they custom make cakes. They have all types of pastries and cheese cakes and you will love it!“

My favorite are the chocolate with vanilla frosting, which I especially love for breakfast. I recommend anything that you like to eat. And, they're open 7 days a week, for alot of hours a day, so makes it easy to accommodate schedules.

I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“
