I was exploring downtown Wallingford, when I walked by this place. Well, it looked way too good to pass up, so I went in! Lots of fun old fashioned candies, etc. But the real goods were at the front; cupcakes and amazing looking desserts! The two girls working there were super sweet and engaging. I ended up getting a razzberry lemon cupcake and the lava cake. If you are looking for something sweet, Mr. D's is the place to be. We were checking out the shops in the Wallingford Center and popped in to Mr. D's just to look. Well, we just HAD to get a few things. Mr. D's has candy, ice cream, cakes, chocolates, bubble tea and much more. We were sold on the cupcakes and they were so delicious. I didn't even know this place existed until my dad's girlfriend brought us there I had my daughter and my nephew and they got tons of candy they had homemade looking great desserts I loved the atmosphere it was a great place and I recommend it to anyone who's aroundKid-friendliness: It's a store almost made for kids they get to get a bag and pick out the candies people are very nice
