“The food is fantastic! We ordered: Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, garlic cheese bread, chicken parm over ziti, eggplant parm over penne alla vodka, cavatelli with garlic,olive oil, sausage, chicken, and broccoli. Dessert was Tiramisu, limoncello cake, and New York cheesecake. Family atmosphere. They also have a private room you can book for parties. You can eat in the bar area or restaurant. The service is always excellent. It’s a shame I can’t post pictures here.”

“We got the Royal combo and the chicken nachos and the bacon cheeseburger baskets and the buried treasure drink and a couple of coronas. It was all delicious. The only complaint I would have is the size of the burgers is getting flatter and flatter over the past few months. The food is always delicious and is one of our favorite restaurants around here. The staff is always friendly although occasionally they forget something such as a small plate or a pickle but it's no big deal it's still a delicious food. Please vacuum above the net and on it”

“WOW! I placed a takeout order and was completely blown away by how good it was. I ordered the drunken noodles with scallops and asked for them Thai hot—and they absolutely delivered on the spice level.

I really appreciate that, because sometimes restaurants seem hesitant to make a dish truly spicy. Not here! If you love heat, you’ll be very happy.

Side note, I think someone made a mistake and put someone else food in my bag. It was a cocanut chicken dish that I did not order. I was already 30 minutes away when I noticed it so I guess I'll try that for lunch tomorrow. I'll be back!”

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)”

Very personal locals and staff. Upbeat ..friendly vibe... Nostalgic historic decorations along the walls with flat screen TVs. Interesting artwork with a lot of history. Adds a nice flare as you look around. Very tastefully decorated... I would definitely come back and have brunch or dinner and just chill out... This is a very classy place in Torrington”

“have been to Brinx twice. Both times I had the everything bagel with cheese, egg and bacon. The bagel is slightly toasted and is both soft and tasty. They give plenty of cheese and plenty of bacon for the very reasonable price of $7.00, which is unmatched anywhere. The young man who serves is friendly and pleasant. The place looks a bit dusty but the tables are clean and the coffee is very good. I highly recommend this place.”

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.”

“Last night we tried Sol Cafe for the first time. It is truly a hidden gem. The people are so nice, prices very reasonable and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. The food was out of this world! Our only regret was that we had not tried it sooner. Will be going back again soon!”

“I do prefer the DQ up north a little more, its so loud at this location- they always get our order wrong but I think its because they have such a hard time hearing us order. the ice cream is just bland vanilla, or white I should say cuz I don't think there's actually any vanilla in it. my daughter buys into the toppings, But I do not.”

First of all, I typically don’t leave reviews, but I am because our server, Glo, was just SO sweet. 💕 She was literally so cute and just really there for us the whole time. Every time she came by to check on us, we would have the cutest little conversations, and she always made sure we had everything we needed. 🥰 She recommended some of the best things on the menu, especially the spinach ricotta empanada, which was literally SO good. And she even brought us this cute little pink fan when she noticed there were little gnats around our food, before we even asked for one. 💗 I thought that was honestly so sweet because she was paying attention and trying to make sure we were comfortable!!!

The food was really good too! The empanadas were definitely my favorite. The chicken wasn’t really my favorite, but my boyfriend got the pork shoulder and really liked it. Overall, I think Glo was honestly the best part of our experience. She was so sweet and friendly, and like, you could tell she actually cared about making sure we had a good time. 😊”

“Why are you telling people they cant use their points and a deal, or you'll cancel/refund their order? If the app lets you use both you have no reason to be canceling people's orders that they payed for and came to get. If you have a problem with that bring it up with your corporate and get them to change it in the app or else dont cancel my order. It it not the customers problem to deal with if its making you guys lose money. Its the way the app is made and that has nothing to do with the customers your servicing.”

“Delicious food at unbeatable prices. If you call and order ahead of time, your food will be ready for pickup in about 10 minutes. The portions are big enough to fill you up and so so delicious. Seems like a family business and the staff is quite friendly. Three stars for atmosphere because it’s clearly a takeout place. Only one small table and it is mainly used by staff. All the classic “American Chinese” dishes are great: general tso, orange chicken, wonton soup, lo mein. And every order comes with a spring roll as well. Great food at great prices.”

“The whole place feels like it was built for a good morning, warm, upbeat, and fast enough that you don’t feel stuck there forever, but comfortable enough to actually enjoy your meal. I came in craving something filling, and the breakfast options delivered right away.

I went with one of their breakfast sandwiches (egg + cheese on a toasted roll), and it tasted made-to-order in the best way, hot, savory, and way more satisfying than I expected. I also tried the avocado toast on multigrain, and it had that perfect “not soggy, not boring” balance with the toppings really coming through.

On the drink side, the coffee menu is where they shine. I grabbed a flavored latte, and it was smooth without tasting watered down, exactly what I want when I’m out trying to start the day strong. They also have playful extras like smoothie options and even gluten-free treats from their featured baker, which is a nice touch.

Overall, it’s a dependable breakfast/brunch spot with solid food and genuinely good coffee - an easy 4 stars.”

Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.”

Last three visits, there were problems with each order….1st time, missing sweet &sour sauce for Sweet and Sour chicken combo meal, next time missing the egg rolls for the combo meals, now this time ordered (and paid for) teriyaki beef on a stick, got teriyaki chicken instead….used to be the best place around, but has gone down hill recently. I guess it’s time to re evaluate the other options in town.”

“I work on some weekends and one night during the week. The staff on the Winsted Rd., Torrington are by far the best. They are always friendly, and I’m more impressed as they know how I like my coffee. I go out of my way, to this Dunkin’ specifically, because They give me the best service and warm greeting from all the young staff that works there! Thank You all! Kathy Casey”

“I order food on uber for delivery because I wasn’t feeling well today and I miss read the Three for meal and thought it came with three things. Long story short I thought a salad was coming with it and it didn’t. I spoke with manager Jackie and she explained it. She was so so kind enough to discount my meal because it was an easy error to misunderstand when reading in uber app details. She really didn’t have to do it but I was super grateful she did because the meal was already kind of pricey for only getting a small soup and little desert and when I say small it was very small. A sliver of a desert size. Overall I’m super pleased with how she handled it and also I had a slight issue a little while back and the other manager who’s a male can’t remember his name. He also handle the situation graciously. I’ve been here many times and it’s always a great atmosphere, the waiters and bartenders are awesome! My food is always delicious as well! So thank you to everyone at 99’s y’all are fantastic!”

“I tried the Oreo Matcha beverage this morning and it could definitely use more flavor. Instead of 2 shots of vanilla, 2 matcha, whole milk, marshmallow cold foam and Oreo cookie crumbles. Overall, it was super watered down and did not really taste the Oreo. Next time I will add extra vanilla, matcha powder, and cookie crumbles.”

“It is a Panera. Nothing special but simple, good good that you know. Drive thru can be slow for sure. The staff is always trying. If it looks busy avoid if you have a place to be. Only had one mistake food wise after numerous stops over the years. Always better to walk in if you can to order or call ahead.”
