“The Towne Tavern is definitely a local bar, a place where they know everybody's name - at least the regulars. Walking in immediately reminded me of Cheers, with all the patrons sitting at the bar, talking and laughing with the bartender. There are other tables available, but all the seating is high top. You order food and drink at the bar, and the food menu is written on the wall. It's mostly your typical bar food - fries, burgers, etc. It is all made to order, and burgers/sandwiches automatically come with potato chips. You can upgrade to fries. The mozzarella sticks were admittedly standard - they absolutely hit the spot if that's what you're craving. My burger was the first correctly cooked to requested temperature burger I've had in forever! It was juicy, cheese was sticking to the bun, and it was hot off the grill. Absolutely don't be put off by the fact it is a local bar - it's got good parking, and no one makes "outsiders" awkward. People even gave a friendly goodbye as we exited.“
“The service was fast and friendly. The food was prepared very well. Fish and chips were light and crunchy, very tasty. If you like it hot, the jerk chicken was a flavor bomb. Only issue is both plates were missing the cole slaw. Definitely worth checking it out.“
“Manager very very nice ! Staff friendly place is super clean. Good food milkshakes were good . Chicken gave me a chick filet vibe . Only thing I didn’t like is the hun should have been buttery and toasted also had to ask for extra cheese n bacon on fries it came very “
“Great food and great service. A special treat was having Angelo the owner come over and visit our table. That type of personal attention just doesn't happen anymore. We were so impressed with everything that we made it a point to eat there again the next day. This place is a treasure.“
“I worked for Cristys many years ago. I miss this place I loved the people I worked for they where like family to me. I learned a lot about cooking. Now because of Momma Cristy my grandchildren now call me Yaya. Kimberly Bundy aka ( Kim Collins)“
“This is a smaller eatery with lots of character and great service. I had breakfast and ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 lightly scrambled eggs, also smothered in the sausage gravy. Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.“
“Really great food and service. Loved the rice with Pigeon peas, and the fried chicken and fried pork chops are a must. We used to eat here all the time but for some reason we hadn't been in while. It's now going to be back in our rotation for sure.“

“Visited there on Sunday and the people and atmosphere were wonderful...My grandparents had a previous restaurant there for 35 years Jerry's Pizza...the new owners were very kind and my grandparents would have loved the place.. Happy memories ♥️“
“My husband and I love stopping in here for an occassional weekend breakfast/brunch. Staff are very friendly and make us feel at home. There are so many wonderful options for meals or small items, and the portions are a pretty good size! I always leave here feeling full and ready to tackle the day! Oh...and my husband loves it too!“
