“4th year being a non resident golf member here and I absolutely love it! The most affordable private club to join in the area and the amenities keep getting better!

The investments into the golf course, restraunt, bar area, and outside seating has gotten very classy! They redid the entire bar and dining room area. The makeover was much needed!

As for the staff, everyone at the pro shop at wonderful and genuine. Kevin, (head pro) is one of the best! His witty jokes and puns make my entrance more enjoyable each and every time! He is wise with his lessons and is a great teacher with the junior golfers. I took a package deal lesson with him and the results have helped me tremendously!

The assistant head pros are young and agile. Quiet and reserved but then I think some of Kevin's humor has rubbed off on them! Mike has been working with my son on lessons...with it being his first junior golfer also, this will help mold him into a possible early retirement job for myself to be his caddy! Fingers crossed!

Overall, I love playing here and dining in. Yes the prices are a bit steep but what isn't expensive nowadays...it is an older population majority but I see more young guns coming in to help blend the crowd!

P.s. I have gone and played some public courses....but I'm so used to playing on lush tee boxes, fairways that have all divots filled, sand traps that are sand....and greens that run fast and quick. Public courses seem to be wanting money rather than quality

“What a nice place! Hidden gem. I drive by this restaurant almost on a weekly based and finally had a chance to have a nice dinner with my girlfriends yesterday. Food is amazing, drinks were fantastic and our waitress was super nice. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant is about 8 years old but building itself was established in 1757. It’s like dining at the museum. Loved it!“

“This place was beyond amazing. I have been here personally for food with friends before but never for an event. I used this place for my 2 month old baby’s baptism luncheon. (On st Patrick’s day) Shannon, the event manager was absolutely fabulous to work with. She even followed up with me after her first email since I have a terrible memory and forgot to reply to the first outreach. She made the whole event super easy and seamless. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. I am a new mom with a 2 month old so complicated processes will never get done. Shannon made everything super easy and friendly. She was available by phone and email. Any questions I had she comfortable to ask and when I changed the salad she made it seem like it was nothing. I cannot say enough great things about her. (P.s this place was extremely well priced too for absolutely FABULOUS food) The day of, we were 30 minutes early and the room was all ready for us and let us choose whether to be in the room or hang out at the bar. Jackie was our waitress and she was amazing! I am a neurotic mom who can’t remember anything and she totally helped me out. When I was walking around talking to guests she brought the drinks to me. She was beyond professional, kind, helpful and nice to all of our guests and us and our family. We got TONS of compliments on Jackie and the food. We got the bronze package and replaced the salad with a Cesar salad, the chicken plate, steak and pasta bolognese. Delicious! They were the perfect portions and super tasty. Again, we cannot say enough great things about Jackie! We had extra people show up and within moments she had spaces created for them. She and her team were great and I hope she knows how wonderful she made the day!“

“We used them to cater a private event at our home last weekend. The communication and planning prior to the event was excellent. The chefs were creative with great suggestions to pair with the wine we chose. The day of could not have been better. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. We had 6 tasting-size courses with additional servings available for guests that wanted more of anything. The chefs and servers took great care of our guests with specific dietary needs by adapting individual dishes and seamlessly serving them to the correct guests. My kitchen was left sparkling clean. “Nice little barbecue place! Had the brisket sandwich and the brisket was smoky and moist. The sandwich bread was toasted to perfection! The fries were actually salted (most places put no salt in fries which is a huge no no for fries). The chicken looked amazing!!! Staff was very nice. The BBQ sauce was a slightly sweet slightly smoky sauce. Would love to see more sauce options like a Carolina Gold!! Definitely stop in the prices are great and so is the food!!“
