“We felt the food and atmosphere were great, definitely a bit more of a fancy place than we normally go to. A bit pricey but the food was very good. My only issue and the biggest reason we most likely will not be going back is they do not have or offer a kids menu and were not very accommodating to kids. I understand it’s fancier place to eat but I was very unprepared when I had my son with me not knowing they did not have a kids menu. He ended up eating French fries for dinner and I had to go home to make him something else.“

“Been going here for over a decade, and Harvest remains the best breakfast/brunch/bakery in the area. They have fresh baked items in the bakery case daily that are priced reasonably, and their scones are THE BEST with great flavor and spot-on texture. Dining in, I always enjoy the Farmer's Benedict with a side of fresh baked sourdough toast. I prefer my eggs poached hard, and they gladly accommodate this request. “I had shirt ribs and my gf had sea bass- bith fantastic. Appetizer was great. Service was very good. They had mocktails and blueberry was good. I like when places have info about local beers and not ask server. I hate asking server and the labor of that and trying to figure from a quick response. But not huge deal with food is so good. The seating was just a bit annoying being so close to others but its ok

“4th year being a non resident golf member here and I absolutely love it! The most affordable private club to join in the area and the amenities keep getting better!

The investments into the golf course, restraunt, bar area, and outside seating has gotten very classy! They redid the entire bar and dining room area. The makeover was much needed!

As for the staff, everyone at the pro shop at wonderful and genuine. Kevin, (head pro) is one of the best! His witty jokes and puns make my entrance more enjoyable each and every time! He is wise with his lessons and is a great teacher with the junior golfers. I took a package deal lesson with him and the results have helped me tremendously!

The assistant head pros are young and agile. Quiet and reserved but then I think some of Kevin's humor has rubbed off on them! Mike has been working with my son on lessons...with it being his first junior golfer also, this will help mold him into a possible early retirement job for myself to be his caddy! Fingers crossed!

Overall, I love playing here and dining in. Yes the prices are a bit steep but what isn't expensive nowadays...it is an older population majority but I see more young guns coming in to help blend the crowd!

P.s. I have gone and played some public courses....but I'm so used to playing on lush tee boxes, fairways that have all divots filled, sand traps that are sand....and greens that run fast and quick. Public courses seem to be wanting money rather than quality

“We arrived to some nice scenery outside & the decorations inside are beautiful, the staff were so nice! The food was delicious, and we were not rushed at all. The greenhouse is so toasty with heat, not uncomfortable either! Our waitress, Allie, most loveliest person I’ve ever met, you could tell she is there because she enjoys people. Absolutely will visit again! The atmosphere, the staff, the food, all excellent!“

“Evergreens is the main dining experience at the Simsbury Inn. Many Wedding go on simultaneously and rea held by reservations way in advance. The dining quite is very fine. Fine dining is very expensive for most. Evergreens is elegant and vey well sought after.“

“What a nice place! Hidden gem. I drive by this restaurant almost on a weekly based and finally had a chance to have a nice dinner with my girlfriends yesterday. “This place was beyond amazing. I have been here personally for food with friends before but never for an event. I used this place for my 2 month old baby’s baptism luncheon. (On st Patrick’s day) Shannon, the event manager was absolutely fabulous to work with. She even followed up with me after her first email since I have a terrible memory and forgot to reply to the first outreach. She made the whole event super easy and seamless. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. I am a new mom with a 2 month old so complicated processes will never get done. Shannon made everything super easy and friendly. She was available by phone and email. Any questions I had she comfortable to ask and when I changed the salad she made it seem like it was nothing. I cannot say enough great things about her. (P.s this place was extremely well priced too for absolutely FABULOUS food) The day of, we were 30 minutes early and the room was all ready for us and let us choose whether to be in the room or hang out at the bar. Jackie was our waitress and she was amazing! I am a neurotic mom who can’t remember anything and she totally helped me out. When I was walking around talking to guests she brought the drinks to me. She was beyond professional, kind, helpful and nice to all of our guests and us and our family. We got TONS of compliments on Jackie and the food. We got the bronze package and replaced the salad with a Cesar salad, the chicken plate, steak and pasta bolognese. Delicious! They were the perfect portions and super tasty. Again, we cannot say enough great things about Jackie! We had extra people show up and within moments she had spaces created for them. She and her team were great and I hope she knows how wonderful she made the day!“

“I've been going to Romas for years. The drinks are on point and Adam is great. Unfortunately I can't remember the female servers name but she pretty cool as well. We sat outside and it was.relaxing, other than the occasional loud car music passing by it's a great spot to unwind after a stressful day at work. I gave three stars for the food because this particular day my wings were overly salty. The calamari was ok and the pizza crust was a little to burnt. I counted this as just an off day because I'm usually content with the food. My job hold our Christmas party here every year and they do an awesome job with the food and the service. I'm sure you will enjoy if you go and if something is not up to your standards, send it back, they are very accommodating.“
