I really wish I could give them a 4.5 and not a 4. The service was good, atmosphere is spot on du to the extremely beautiful historical "haunted" house, and the menu is changing pretty often, giving you reason to come back. I'll definitely give it a try again in the future, just not going to go for a steak, it was rather chewy, bland, and very expensive. Everything else was perfect though!
Drove about an hour and twenty minutes for our first visit there and couldn't have been more thrilled. The place was amazing. Ryan, our server was warm, friendly and was more than happy to share stories of the original Pettibones and Chart House, including ghost sightings and more. He offered up thoughts on menu items and never made us feel rushed at all. He is a definite asset to this place! We all had the filet, I also had the grilled shrimp...everything was excellent. The best steak we have ever had. Delicious flavor, tender, and melt in your mouth heaven. We noticed the previous reviews and after a local hotel shared how he's never had a bad meal at this location, we decided to stay for dinner and not just drinks. It DID NOT Disappoint! The service was spot on. The Simsbury location offers an excellent historical atmosphere too.
