“It was great to come to a local place that ALWAYS has great vibes. The folks are nice, the food is fresh and the surroundings are comfortable and casual.
We both had salads. The Caesar salad with salmon and the Chop salad with chicken. The only reason for four stars is the salmon was overcooked. But, I ate it all and I'd get it again! (I just got off the plane and was hungry 🤣)Also, both dressings were DELICIOUS as well. (Homemade) We didn't get beer today, but I've been here before and am happy to brag about their selection. “Been going here for over a decade, and Harvest remains the best breakfast/brunch/bakery in the area. They have fresh baked items in the bakery case daily that are priced reasonably, and their scones are THE BEST with great flavor and spot-on texture. Dining in, I always enjoy the Farmer's Benedict with a side of fresh baked sourdough toast. I prefer my eggs poached hard, and they gladly accommodate this request. On top of the most amazing food, the friendly staff, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes every experience dining in a pleasure!“

“I just recently hosted a beautiful bridal shower at Soma Grille. Carlos was such a pleasure to work with. He gave me access to his dining room and I ran with it. The communication was spot on from the set up of the tables to the meal choices; there were no issues at all. The staff were very accommodating and polite to work with as well. The food presentation was beautiful and I received so many compliments of how delicious the food was. With three meal choices everyone was taken care of. The bonus was that the restaurant is located in the 1820 House which made it so convenient for out of town/state guests to stay. I Highly recommend Some Grille and will be returning back for dinner to take advantage of summer nights on his outdoor patio.“

“nope will not be back.1 no more chicken nachos they were the best,they no longer serve burgers in the dinning room but you can get chicken wings,didn't have any angel hair pasta, portions have been down sized chicken parm was about half the size it used to be.pasta was over cooked and had no flavor... was told that the owner is the chef dont know if that changed but something did. waitresses was awsome service was very good. dont think we will be making the trip out here anymore. sorry coach stop it is what it is. amendment 45 minutes after we left the coach stop 2 out of the five of us had explosive diarrhea.“

“We felt the food and atmosphere were great, definitely a bit more of a fancy place than we normally go to. A bit pricey but the food was very good. My only issue and the biggest reason we most likely will not be going back is they do not have or offer a kids menu and were not very accommodating to kids. I understand it’s fancier place to eat but I was very unprepared when I had my son with me not knowing they did not have a kids menu. He ended up eating French fries for dinner and I had to go home to make him something else.“

“I feel it’s important to share Three Figs is under new management and has made quite a turnaround. I waited until I experienced several successful visits before writing this review so I could be certain in my recommendation. I’ve now dined in a small group, a larger group, in the dining room, in the bar and as part of a civic group banquet in the back room. Each time, I have been pleased and satisfied. The food has been delicious (both regular menu and specials) and the service prompt & exceptional. I find the atmosphere warm & welcoming, reminding me of Cheers (the neighborhood place where everybody knows your name). Our dinner this past week was a positive experience in specific ways. We didn’t have a reservation and the parking lot was packed. Yet our wait was surprisingly short, and enjoyable at the bar with friendly service. Once in the dining room, our server was kind, helpful and happy…and very accommodating when a substitution was requested on an order at our table. The manager even helped serve our plates and made sure we were all enjoying our experience. Noting that the staff worked well together and were all happy…it implies that working there must be positive for them as well. The restaurant itself was also very clean and comfortable. In the past, I could not have shared these same words and had nearly given up on this local, convenient spot. So it pleases me very much to see the new management has turned it around. Having a great spot so close by is appreciated. Congrats Three Figs…your efforts are worth it!“

“Had a great evening at the Rail Trail Ale House! I really wanted to sit outside, but unfortunately there was a chance of rain so they said no.

They have a good selection of beers. We both had burgers and they were juicy and delicious. Their fries really stole the show though, so fresh and perfectly fried.

The service was mediocre and the restaurant was a cluttered feeling (cleaning supplies and menus about).“

The atmosphere was warm and cozy, elegant but extremely comfortable and inviting. The staff friendly and helpful as can be. And omg the food, mmmmmmmmazing. Everything looked amazing, I will tell you I specifically had risotto balls, torched wedge salad, ricotta gnocchi with braisedbeef short rib ragu, and chocolate mousse. I can't look at regular salad the same way ever again and everything else was just amazing on it's own, and as a whole evening experience. Please do yourself a favor and set aside some time to have a meal here.“

“This dining spot is located in the Marriott Hotel on Day Hill Road. After work, my guest and I stopped in for apps and drinks. We enjoyed the Point Judith Calamari and the wings.
The inviting atmosphere and excellent service make this dining experience a plus for business travelers. The menu is a little pricey but not out of line for 4-star hotels.

“The employees at both The Kitchen and the adjacent gas station were all very kind, from the guy ringing my order up to the woman making the most DELICIOUS cookies, to the guy making my sub. I got the Smokey Bandit, and just half was enough for one sitting. 10/10 would recommend.

“Evergreens is the main dining experience at the Simsbury Inn. Many Wedding go on simultaneously and rea held by reservations way in advance. The dining quite is very fine. Fine dining is very expensive for most. Evergreens is elegant and vey well sought after.“

“I have been to Don's Kitchen twice and never been disappointed. I ordered the Whiting fried fish and grits with a fried egg. It was excellent. The grits were hot and creamy with no lumps and the fish was fried on the hard side and poped when I bit into it and was piping hot! OMG, I totally enjoyed it. The owner came out on the first visit and was a total joy. It was very nice to meat her. Her husband came out later. Very nice family. Also, I don't know what type of coffee they served at the time which was a couple of months ago but it was very good. I hope they continue to serve consistently good food.“

“I wasn't going to complain but I'm still mad. I asked for extra lime in my cocktail. I received half a see through slice of lime. I didn't read my bill til I got home they charged me $2.00 for the lime!! You can buy a whole lime in the store for fifty cents! They should have told me about the extra charge for next to nothing.“
