“Sunday, 03/17/24 2:00:We’ve been here a dozen times or so.The burger is always excellent, the fries are pretty good, limp unlike the past.The fries are very pricey.The service is very good but the place over the last year is not as well kept. Some of the center post tables have been broken down for months, the tops wobble way too much because they aren’t screwed down correctly.And, this time like the last couple of times the tables aren’t at all wiped down. If it weren’t so cold out we’d have eaten out.A thin middle-aged woman and younger man were cooking and bringing the food out and trying to keep up with the trash on the tables and counters. “Today we got 3 meals from partners, brought them home and it appeared that the meals have been shaken to the point where the meals were inedible. We then contacted the manager of the store to see if we would either get our food refunded or we could get our food remade and the manager stated we didn’t get back to them in time??? Since when is there a time limit on a refund or meals being remade?? The manager refused to do either refund or remake our food and started giving me a very unprofessional attitude and was being very rude.“

“We are lucky to have in this area several great ice cream shops. This is definitely one of them and it brings a little bit of history, out of this very shop the founding brothers of friendly's started their summer business of selling ice cream at " the summer house. " The brick structure that is the basis of the restaurant today was the historical summer house for friendly's. At that time congamond lakes was a huge summer destination for people in the area. “A solid four star breakfast for our anniversary. I got the Irish Benedict, my husband the conga-monster. We sat on the water and the view was beautiful, can't say anything for the interior of the restaurant as we were not seated there. We started with bloody Mary's, obviously which were good, but I've had better. I absolutely hate the paper straw but that's a personal preference. Our server was polite and attentive, but the service itself was incredibly slow, about 30 minutes before we got food. I will say, my breakfast was divine. Potatoes cooked and seasoned well, corned beef hash had a fantastic sear on it and I felt my poached eggs were cooked beautifully. Hollandaise was good, and appeared to not be made entirely from a box. Hubby was very satisfied with his breakfast as well. Prices were reasonable for what we got. I would love to come back in the fall to see the leaves and sit outdoors.“
“The Local Chamber of Commerce had their holiday party there last night and it was amazing. From the inital call to the day of, Kristin made everything so easy. The food, the decorations, and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend The Grill at Copper Hill in East Granby.“
“Takeout Review:I ordered the BBQ Cheddar Bacon Burger, fries, and New England clam chowder. The burger was good and the clam chowder was decent. My husband was raving about the chili cheese dog; it was also huge. I'm going to try that one next time!Ordering was easy, I called the order in and the food was ready at the time of pick up. I'll have to dine in next time but I drive by it all the time and it looks like a quaint, old school style burger joint. They also have wings, sandwiches, seafood, soups, milkshakes, and soft-serve ice cream. There's also a patio for when the weather gets warmer.“

We were there on a Tuesday late afternoon, and it was dead. Not sure how busy it gets. Would be an amazing place to go on NFL Sundays or to watch March madness.“
“My wife and I came in for dinner and had a great experience all thanks to our waiter Brendan. He was extremely warm and welcoming. He went over all the new menu items to make sure we knew what had changed. Every interaction with him was extremely positive. “This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were very good. They were most and tender and had simmered in the sauce and had great flavor. The pizza was disappointing. The crust was slightly undercooked, and with every bite I took, the entire cheese on the slice came off. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and outgoing. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 7.5.“
“This Five Guys is located in the Avon Walmart Plaza, so it's easy to get in at the light and there's plenty of parking. This particular location I had no issues with - it was clean, their soda machines were working, and my burger was hot with cheese gooeing everywhere. I love a Five Guys burger, they do the cheese so well! This seems to be a popular place for Doordash and UberEats orders - many pickups were made at the same time as my meal, which caused a noticable but NOT unreasonable delay. I only wish there was a little more non-booth seating.“

We usually get the CEO she referred us to try the NEW Chef Burger this time 10/10. “For my daughter and I, this was a gem we found in the woods! ( so to speak). It is one of THE BEST places for breakfast or brunch It is more or less like IHOP. Service with smile, good food, and reasonable prices. I would have given 4 stars for atmosphere, but did not because they have two entrances (doors) that open directly into their parking lot. Every time the doors open, they bring in puff of fresh air and cold ( possibly some dust). Hope they make enough money to fix this. We loved it and we will keep going there!“

I had many questions, since I wasn't from the area, and the cashier was patient and kind. They offer a great variety of toppings including mushrooms and grilled onions.The wait time to receive my food was rather short. And, everything tasted so fresh! The bun was soft and warm. The sauces added unique flavor. The fries were flavorful and crisp.I left feeling stuffed in the best way. My husband ordered a shake and as someone who doesn't like sweet foods, the shake had great flavor without being too much.I really enjoyed this restaurant, and would definitely visit if I came by the area again.“
