“Sunday, 03/17/24 2:00:We’ve been here a dozen times or so.The burger is always excellent, the fries are pretty good, limp unlike the past.The fries are very pricey.The service is very good but the place over the last year is not as well kept. Some of the center post tables have been broken down for months, the tops wobble way too much because they aren’t screwed down correctly.And, this time like the last couple of times the tables aren’t at all wiped down. If it weren’t so cold out we’d have eaten out.A thin middle-aged woman and younger man were cooking and bringing the food out and trying to keep up with the trash on the tables and counters. My wife who’s always on a diet ate 1/3 of everything.BTW, if you haven’t noticed the average 1/3-1/2 lb burger at most places these days is $15, this is 1/2 the price. “Neat little hole-in-the-wall place (behibd the 7-11), that I just happened to find while looking at the map, because the original place I was gonna go was closed on Tuesdays ? Glad I did though, cause the food was very good, the two people working behind the counter there were quite friendly and nice, and they even gave us a free bag of onion rings, because they didn't want to throw them out ? “Joeys to go is my number 1 go to spot for take out in west Hartford. Staff is always friendly and service outstanding. Always get the order correctly and cooked perfectly the way I like as well. Pizza is nicely thin & crisp and the Alfredo pasta is always delicious as well. my son who is a extremely picky eater will only eat take from a very very select few places loves their chicken tenders & fries. I also enjoy the Sweet Asian wings are amazing and so is the cheese steak grinder. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try out a different spot in town for a nice to go dinner or even quick slice to go during lunch break.“

I had many questions, since I wasn't from the area, and the cashier was patient and kind. They offer a great variety of toppings including mushrooms and grilled onions.The wait time to receive my food was rather short. And, everything tasted so fresh! The bun was soft and warm. The sauces added unique flavor. The fries were flavorful and crisp.I left feeling stuffed in the best way. My husband ordered a shake and as someone who doesn't like sweet foods, the shake had great flavor without being too much.I really enjoyed this restaurant, and would definitely visit if I came by the area again.“
“I've been here a couple of times now and both times were great. The service was quick, friendly, and fast. The food came out looking and tatsing delicious. I've only dined outside on their spacious patio because the weather was great. They had the heater blasting which I requested to to be turned down because it was burning my head, other patrons agreed.I started off with a Saturday fun day glass of their Green Mind Avocado Margarita, yes, you read that right; avocado mixed into a margarita, very interesting but it worked. The drink was on the smaller side for $13 and change but it was good and I could taste the slight creaminess of the avocado. They had a good sized cocktail menu and a variety of craft beers.On this most recent visit, I had the Korean BBQ burger. OMG, juicy and flavorful; it had gochujang mayo, kimchi, onion straws, and Korean BBQ sauce. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I wished there were more pickled cucumber slices because those were BANGIN'. “The pizza and their sauce is delicious and for that I would recommend. However, we ordered take out and had it delivered and they completely forgot to put the sauce for the desert we ordered in the bag. When we called they said there was nothing they can do it’s a new driver. One would think they would at least offer to deliver the sauce at some point, we don’t live far from the restaurant. or to at least come pick it up. We paid for it. So for that we won’t be ordering from here again.“
“Takeout Review:I ordered the BBQ Cheddar Bacon Burger, fries, and New England clam chowder. The burger was good and the clam chowder was decent. My husband was raving about the chili cheese dog; it was also huge. I'm going to try that one next time!Ordering was easy, I called the order in and the food was ready at the time of pick up. I'll have to dine in next time but I drive by it all the time and it looks like a quaint, old school style burger joint. They also have wings, sandwiches, seafood, soups, milkshakes, and soft-serve ice cream. There's also a patio for when the weather gets warmer.“

“I read some of the reviews about this spot and had to come and check it out for myself. When I entered Roma's for lunch, there was one other person at the bar and then a gentleman setting up TV's behind the bar. He came over with a Menu after taking my drink order. I decided to go with their honey bbq wings, New England clam chowder and Hawaiin Burger. The guy behind the bar was friendly and kept striking up conversation with myself and the other gentleman. My wings came out and I must say, these golden temptations weren't just slightly crisp but met my tastebuds with a sweetness about them, that when dipped into the blue cheese; only set off a powerful bite that was creamy and a bit tangy. I had fun with the rollercoaster of taste upon these wings. As for my Clam Chowder. It was chunky and had much going on. Clams came packed with a degree of seasonings that started out good but ended in a bad way for the chowder was a bit too salty. This chowder would be the perfect start to. any meal in the winter, had it not been for the saltiness of it all; taking away from what could be its own star of a chowder show. Now my fries, bliss in a bite with just the right amount of salt upon them and a crispiness to be reckoned with. Even the burger made my mouth happy with its freshness on the beef; made to order. Didn't taste like frozen pot luck beef at all. Seasoned just right and the pineapples, along with onion crisps held enough flavor to transcend this burger into the next phase of its life...The bun was toasted both inside and out, holding the components together for a nice barrage of burger bliss. “This Five Guys is located in the Avon Walmart Plaza, so it's easy to get in at the light and there's plenty of parking. This particular location I had no issues with - it was clean, their soda machines were working, and my burger was hot with cheese gooeing everywhere. I love a Five Guys burger, they do the cheese so well! This seems to be a popular place for Doordash and UberEats orders - many pickups were made at the same time as my meal, which caused a noticable but NOT unreasonable delay. I only wish there was a little more non-booth seating.“

He went over all the new menu items to make sure we knew what had changed. Every interaction with him was extremely positive. We will definately be going back and will request seating in Brendans section!“
