“First of all- the place is very clean and tidy with clean restrooms. Vanilla milkshake was delicious and had a vanilla bean flavor which was 10/10! Jungle burger did not disappoint- very flavorful and the toppings were just right so that the burger did not fall apart or become a mess- 10/10!!! Crispy fries vs Fries- tried both and preferred the crispy “puffy” fries- but both were delicious and generous portion. The staff was friendly and welcoming.“

“Their food is so fresh and so delicious. The Baba ghanoush is so smoky with layers of flavor; it was a little lumpy with big chunks of eggplant in the puree which I wasn’t a fan of. But the flavor is so good.
The hummus is so creamy. Their tabouli salad is so fresh and their falafel is amazing. They also have tons of vegan options.
We ordered our food online so not sure how the atmosphere is.“

“Can’t put this all into words, but one of the best pizza experiences of my life. Went with a friend who’s a former local, and let the dice roll on a chef’s choice on two pies. First, a meatball with vodka sauce and ricotta balls. Not on the menu, but it should be. It was amazing. The meatballs were melt in your mouth and the vodka sauce was simply special. Then, a grandma’s shepherds pie. Fermented dough gives it just a hint of sour, the sweet of the corn and the starchy salty mashed potatoes, man oh man it was delicious. To top it off the guys sent us two cannolis for dessert.

When this place gets its license to sell beer it will be unstoppable, and should become a staple of whatever that neighborhood was called, but I’m calling it Little Rio because of all of the Brazilian shops.

Pepe’s of New Haven, you better watch your back. These boys can go toe to toe with anyone.

“This was a great unexpected experience. My friend I wanted sliders so we stopped in for that, not realizing it was 8:50 and they close at 9pm. The hostess was so sweet and still let us dine in which was greatly appreciated. Shout out to our server Aidan he was awesome!!! He didn't make sus feel rushed ! Instead of sliders we ordered a double smashed burger to share, one thing I loved as an option is we could do half regular fries and half sweet potato fries. It hit every taste bud on my tongue. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese and it was out of this world good. Perfectly balanced. Not too much bbq sauce, right amount of cheese and a nice crisp bread. The tater tots were perfectly fried and salted. They were so good we didn't even need ketchup. We will for sure be back.“

You can watch the boats go by and the oldest ferry in the United States! The food is slightly pricey but I promise you will get what you pay for in portions. Best lobster roll I have had in YEARS. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. Everything was made to order. Service was quick and friendly. Does it get better than that?!“

“Great Dairy Queen location – so happy to have one nearby!

I recently moved to Cobalt and was thrilled to find out there’s a Dairy Queen just 5 minutes from my house. When I lived in Hartford, the closest one was about 20 minutes away, so this is a big win.

The store is spacious, clean, well organized, and very inviting. We stopped by after a trip to pick up treats for myself, my husband, and our guests. As always, Blizzard treats are a hit and instantly make everyone happy.

If I had one small suggestion to make it perfect, it would be to enjoy the filling throughout the Blizzard, not just at the very end.

We arrived close to closing time for inside pickup (around 9:15 pm, with the lobby closing at 9:30 pm). I initially thought it closed at 10:00 pm based on Google, but that’s actually for the drive-thru. Even so, we were welcomed, treated kindly, and had a great experience.

I’m very happy to have this as our new local Dairy Queen and will definitely be back — and bringing more people with me.“
