The Summer House is a cozy and warm road side diner. The food is quick, tasty and fresh, and a little greasy. The staff is very friendly, with service with a smile. Food allergies are taken seriously. The restaurant is very clean, and the kitchen looked very clean. Food never takes more than 10 minutes. There is a big selection. The french fries with a patty melt and onion rings are pretty good. The strawberry shortcake is outstanding. Milkshakes are a delicious way to finish. The kid meal is nice and very filling, and comes with an ice cream. The back has lots of room for kids to run and play. The inside has plenty of seats. It is very family friendly and reasonably priced. Not recommended for vegetarians.
