“The Applebee's in torrington, ct was clean and respectable, (inside&out). The waitstaff was pleasant and atentative. Tasha my wife's and i'es waitress was very personable and friendly. The food was very good from the shrimp with alfredo and my wife's short ribs. TASTY..Were from bristol, ct and we were there for the passing of a dear friend. But if your out that way ever, stop in and have some great food. 1620 east main st. .....God bless us all, and as allways. “The pizza is always great but the last time I picked up it was the busiest I have ever seen it and I really am writing this review for the service. The two young ladies working were absolutely fantastic. They were handling the constant influx of customers smoothly, with a smile and keeping those preparing the food on task at the same time. Top notch service! The Atmosphere is a three since it's just a small take out place so you can't expect much for atmosphere.“
“I returned to Mulligan's in Torrington because I decided to give their Bar-Rated Trivia another shot. I liked it the first time, but was more impressed with this visit. The music played stood out more and the crowd was upbeat and interactive without being overbearing. I will say, it got a bit loud at times, though I did arrive later than expected. I enjoyed the "two Daves" and my Riesling ($9). I took a few photos, so you'd get the idea.“
