Mexican Restaurants near Torrington

“Food and service were good, but the place was dirty. Greasy fingerprints on the tops of just about every booth, and dust. Would go back, but if still dirty, not staying!“

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize an employee named Lisany!

My husband and I stopped in for a meal the other day, and Lisany’s customer service really stood out to us (Chipotle in Torrington, CT). We came in fairly close to closing, and while my husband was putting together his meal, the corn was getting low. Now, normally that close to closing, you’d completely understand if what’s left is what’s left. But Lisany actually went back and brought out a fresh refill of corn so he could finish his meal the way he wanted it. That small gesture did not go unnoticed.

Then, after we had paid and grabbed our drinks from the front, Lisany came over and asked if we would like colder beverages and personally went to the cooler to get them for us.

It wasn’t anything we asked for, she simply noticed and took the initiative. And to me, that is what separates ordinary customer service from genuinely excellent customer service.

Lisany went above and beyond our expectations, especially at the end of a workday when it would have been very easy to do only what was necessary. Her attentiveness, initiative, and care for her customers are absolutely worthy of recognition, and an example of customer service worth imitating.

So I just wanted to put her name out there. 🌟

Thank you so much, Lisany! Your effort was noticed and very much appreciated.“

“Hello I'm here to tell you about my experience this is the most non-heinous Taco Bell I've ever been to. You can just take sauce and like possibly even use it on other stuff this is great this is way better than ketchup.
Everything's good but the atmosphere just makes you look like you're in like a super space age restaurant where you should leave in 20 minutes cuz the seats will shock you“

“Tony, the bartender, receives the recognition he truly deserves.

My intention was to grab a quick meal before heading home, but I ended up staying much longer because of Tony who was the bartender.

In addition to offering excellent recommendations and demonstrating great skill behind the bar, his kindness, personality, and genuine hospitality completely transformed my evening. Having spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry, I can say with confidence that true hospitality cannot be taught—it is something innate, and Tony absolutely embodies it.

Our conversation flowed so naturally that it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. He made me feel sincerely welcome, which is increasingly rare and deeply appreciated.

While the food was, as always, excellent, my experience at the bar with Tony was one of the best service experiences I have had in many years. He is an outstanding asset to your team, and I hope this message is shared with him, as he truly deserves to hear it.

Thank you for a wonderful evening.“

“Salsas 5 is the best pizza place in Terryville now. They have better wings and pizza than every other pizza place here and all the Mexican stuff they have is incredible.“
