“Decided to try this place instead of the usual chipotle. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of my burrito with chips and queso. Infinitely higher quality than chipotle at a similar cost. Of note, my burrito was a little on the liquidy side, which made it slightly messy. However, if nothing changed I would get the same thing again in a heartbeat. Will be returning soon.“

“This authenticly themed restaurant is easy to miss being set slightly back from a busy road with just a sign out front to distinguish it from its surroundings.
Upon entering into an atmosphere of modern Mexican music, we were promptly seated, and a bowl of chips with a accompinant of salsa and bean tip was placed before us. Our drink orders were taken by a smiling waiter, and menus were delivered.
The menu booklet is categorized and is very extensive.
After perusing said menu, I ordered the seafood enchilada, and my had the fajita salad with chicken.
After a short while our entrees were delivered, piping hot on piping hot plates.
My enchiladas were foiled with shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat, with sides of refried beans, seasoned rice, and a small avocado salad.
My wife's fajita salad was served in a tortilla bowl. It included deep-fried chicken with veggies. There was also guacamole in a separate container .
Too much for her appetite, she requested a takeout box and was given a portion of chips and salsa to take home.“

“An authentic Mexican dining experience in an unassuming strip mall. This gem has a homey decor, and fast friendly service. Tony was on point, as our server, and we didn't want for anything. The food was amazing. It wasn't just the flavors but the presentation. I've never had large tostito chips like this and it was just a fun experience. The green and red salsas are some of the best I have had. Very different flavor profiles, the green is milder with hints of avocado and maybe a bit of jalapeno. The red salsa has some heat. For dinner my wife had a chicken burrito. It was on the drier side which is how she prefers them and she said it was excellent. I tried a new dish, Alambres. It is a pile of steak, bacon peppers and onions covered in cheese. It was awesome, but unless you are a professional, you won't finish it. Also, if you like heat ask for the red spicy sauce on the side. We were too stuffed for dessert but we will definitely be going back again, so we will plan accordingly. As a note, they do have a bar as well and Mariachi night on Thursdays.“

I usually get the enchiladas huertenas because I can't decide if the mole, red sauce, or green sauce is better; they are all equally wonderful. So are their tender, flavorful tamales. even their chips & salsa are a cut above. Pickup during the pandemic is fast and painless, which we appreciate.“

If you want to sip margaritas out of a fish bowl and guacamole made table side then Puerto Vallarta and Azteca might be for you. If you want fast food from chain restaurants then there’s Chipotle and Moe’s. But if you’re looking for the best authentic Mexican fare the Berlin Turnpike has to offer, look no further the Salsa 4 Taqueria! It’s a hole in wall that you would drive by if you weren’t looking for it. I had beef empanadas, a trio of tacos, el pastor, pork belly, and deep fried shrimp. I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine this is what I would get on the streets there. Be prepared to wait for your food. Empanadas are made to order and the corn taco shells are pressed and cooked to order with a choice of soft or crunchy! The el pastor was very flavorful, pork belly with a nice char on the outside melts in your mouth, the batter fried shrimp were large and delicious, shredded beef in the empanadas was braised to perfection! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I dug in before it crossed my mind. Yes, it’s that good!“

“Do it, excellent! It made me miss California Tacos shop. Fresh, flavorful, authenic, delicious!! The corn tortillas melted in my mouth. It is a food truck in a lot, but it's clean and they have picnic tables, although I ate in my car. You can see people working hard, and super nice. Can't wait to come back!“

The pictures speak for themselves but if your cake isf illed with mold that could be solved with a simple friged repair. Then I don't want to know what your kitchen is like. “My current top hidden gem for amazing and authentic Mexican food. Hidden in La plaza del Mercado, this spot has the most amazing tripe soup, where the tripe was properly cleaned, no funky taste/smell, cooked perfectly tender. Great caldo de res as well, the meat was tender and had a strong beef flavor, soup was light and refreshing and the veggies provided a nice natural sweetness and the squash was incredible inside. Their tacos are great as well and their pricing is a bargain and their portions are quite good.“

If you are looking for something tasty I recommend the cemita for 16$ you get a sandwich that will fill you up for the rest of the day, I also want to say the customer service is great a really kind mother and her son working there.
