“I wanted Pho and my mom wanted a burrito bowl. Well she got what she wanted and I got something to never expected, a Phorrito! Pho ingredients in a burrito. And it was pretty amazing!“

“You need to try french fries at Baja's restaurant. Very good taste and crispy.“

“Food is great with great price. This Chipotle has to be the most hood rachette ghetto and disorganized location... totally unkept to its high standards being in glastonbury all the way thru to the music they play ghetto rap music...where is upper management?..Sad part about it that it's a money machine store where obviously it's 6 figure demographics customers keeps it off the radar to get visits from upper management...if it was properly operarated am sure it would generate more revenue with repeat customers...this store needs some serious TLC.“

“The best authentic Mexican food in Ct period, the staff that works there is absolutely amazing and so is the food !“

“This place is amazing in all regards, it is our go-to dining out spot of choice. As others have noted, the birria is absolutely incredible. The detail that brings my family in consistently is that it is a standard meat you can order any of their many offerings with. Kudos for that idea ! Note: They are no longer at 50 Rapallo avenue. They moved right around the corner to a more visible location that will get more foot traffic passing by, I hope it works out well for them. I believe the attached map has the new location correctly shown, the posted address has not been updated. As of mid April 2026, they were closed to renovate the new location, I was told their projected re-opening was going to be in early - mid May. Good idea to call first. If the owners or any customers have an update on that, it would be great to post. My daughter and I are suffering from La Casa Mania birria withdrawals and need a fix soon !“

“Definitly love ALL the tacos, the birria is awsome. Tamales are on point too!“

“I can’t say 1 bad thing about this place !! The FOOD IS SOOOOOOOO AMAZING and the portions are beyond impressive!! The prices don’t make sense in the best possible way and the owners and stuff were so lovely. Would recommend to anyone and I’ll DEFINITELY be going back .“

“Taqueria La is a hidden gem near Wesleyan University. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The tacos were packed with delicious fillings, and the homemade salsas added the perfect kick. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly and welcoming. It’s a great spot for a quick lunch or a casual dinner. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Mexican food, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!“

“The food was amazing! We tried the birria tacos, steak tacos, and guacamole with chips, it was all so flavorful and delicious! The meat portion in the tacos was more generous than other places we’ve tried.
The kid at the front was so kind and patient while I took forever deciding what I wanted (I wanted to try everything, and I’ll keep going back till I do). He was very polite with me and my kids, and then was being silly with the kids like a big brother, they loved it! He made the experience much more than just waiting for a takeout order. We will be back for sure!!“
