Restaurantji's Willimantic guide: Where to find the best Mexican flavors.
“This food is amazing! I'm blown away, it's like the aurora borealis of food. I got the queso birria and a horchata to drink. Everything was outstanding. Thank you so much! I can only imagine the amount of care that goes into making these meals“
“Excellent excellent food. Home made and full of flavor. Two options, either you sit at a table and order from the menu OR walk along the display counter and have a plate custom built for you (highly recommend). You won’t be disappointed. If I lived closer I would get to go all the time but I always sit at the tables so I can get a good face sweat with the red sauce ?“
“Stopped by for lunch today and we had two coronas, a boot tequila shot, flautas and the enchiladas- both chicken. Flautas were a little crunchy but the meat was good and the sauces were incredible. SO had sopes last time which he loved. All in all, this is a solid Mexican place with a full bar, tucked away in an unassuming willimantic strip mall. Food is good and workers are friendly. Definitely worth the stop.“
“La neta, estos tacos rifan!I stopped here for dinner last night. It was not what I expected but there was something comforting about it. It transported me to my childhood and going to neighborhood food spots that were unassuming. The food was incredible!“
