Been going to Jacqueline's for over 25 years. Hadn't been for a while and clearly new people are running it. Ordered ice tea and they said they were out; it was 1:00PM on a Friday. Our normal chicken salad sandwiches had half the amount as in the past; a thin layer of chicken salad between two pieces of toast. Wait staff was more interested in talking with each other than serving tables. Guy next to us never got his bill and finally just went to the register. Same happened with us. Sorry to see an icon slump so much.

It's my honor to rate Jacqueline's Restaurant. Based on all of these categories, it is the best place to get a good cup of joe, an omelette or a sandwich. They never disappoint.

Ordered a waffle for desert with a whipped cream on a SIDE for the reason it don’t get saggy while I’m eating my meal . After she brought it with a cream on TOP by her own mistake I asked kindly to make another one as first one was saggy already , the waiter went and asked the owner and come back to let me know that I need to pay for BOTH waffles. LOL
Loosing a local customer who brings you money EVERY WEEKEND over a 50 cents self cost waffle ! The cheapest! BYE

I’m originally from NJ so I know good Diner food lol. Been coming to this place since I moved to Bethel 3 years ago. Super friendly and welcoming. There is one server who I never asked for her name, but when I come she walks up to me and asks me if I want the usual. Lol I come maybe once every other month but she remembers my order. There was one time I ordered something different and she was in utter shock ( jokingly ) I love this place. Bring your girl/boy friend here, or your family I promise it’s worth it.

I ordered the monte cristo, my fiance ordered an avocado and egg breakfast sandwich. We also shared potatos. My monte cristo was decent, though I'm not convinced it came on challah as advertised, and it left me feeling a little uneasy after the meal. My fiance' sandwich had a hair on it, which happens, but paired with the avocado covered with black spots, she had to pass on eating it. The staff was apologetic, and removed it from the bill. The potatos were non offensive, and overall bland. I've been super pleased with so much Bethel has to offer, but this was pretty disappointing for me.

Excellent local diner! Like Cheers, and place where everybody knows you and your order. The staff is personable and the food is good. Alli and Jackie are the sweetest.

This used to be a great place but it sure has changed. No love, $36 for breakfast for 2. Just bacon poached eggs.

I went there today for my first time, definitely worth the experience! Staff is very friendly. Their menu has a lot of different options, food is delicious and it didn’t take long at all. Also their prices are very affordable. Very nice place to bring your family or go on a coffee date.
