First time getting a cake from Varano Bakery being new to the Bethel area and super impressed!!! We spoke with Theresa about our options for my sons birthday cake, she was extremely helpful via email and then in person when ordering. We gave a photo of what we wanted for our dinosaur theme cake for a 2nd bday party and it was executed perfectly. I was thrilled how great it came out! The cake was white cake, cannoli filling with chocolate buttercream. Everyone was very impressed with the cake appearance but also raved about the cake taste once served. We definitely found our new spot for cakes!! All around 10/10. The gentleman that helped package up our cake at pick up was extremely thoughtful in helping make the ride home with the cake as easy as possible to keep it safe during travels. And the young boy behind the counter helped carry it out to my car. Very thoughtful and the extra customer service is something that will bring us back to support this business .

We just moved to Bethel and was very excited to find a local bakery. We got a gender reveal cake from here and morning pastries a few times. I am excited to take advantage of more of their desserts and have them be our go to bakery spot!!

My daughter had a wedding cake fail from another bakery. At the very last minute Verano’s took a cake that they had in the case and redid it to look almost exactly like the cake she wanted. We were literally on our way to the venue and a friend went in and told them what happened and they gave us a gorgeous, delicious cake without hesitation. I highly recommend this bakery. They have my business for life!

What kind of Italian Bakery doesn"t have Italian Pastry..any? This poor excuse for one..and charging 38 dollars a pound for small Pignola cookies..such a ripp off..and they offer Oreo cookies with cream top covered in chocolate..Garbage!..and i didn;t get what i asked for..never again!

Not a huge selection of pastries. Mainly cookies. I did buy a blueberry Danish that was very good but not something I normally buy in a bakery because they are sooo common.

A friend brought over two of their cakes and they were both amazing. The cannoli cake was sweet and creamy. The strawberry shortcake had the lightest cream icing. The perfect desserts to bring to a party!

I sometimes wish that I could buy everything here. Always fresh, always with a smile. I love the place.

My wife wanted to pick up some cookies to bring to a family function. This is the closest Italian bakery to us in Brookfield so we tried them. The price was a little cheaper than I expected which was nice. The almond horseshoe was very good. All the cookies we ordered were delicious with the exception of the rainbow cookies. They did not have enough jelly, which made them a little dry. Other than that, loved this place.
